...But I Escaped Because.......

...But I escaped because I came across another perfectly functioning submarine that only had 20,000 leagues on it and boarded that, allowing me to keep travelling the world.

The next poster is trapped in a horror movie, and everyone just split up (which is an extremely bad idea).
 
But I escape by leaving everyone hanging!

...But I escaped because during the night a Snake seeking someplace warm had slithered onto the sleeping bag I was in and gone to sleep, and then helped me out of the sleeping bag in the morning out of gratitude for not disturbing him.

The next poster is tied up by malevolent lawn gnomes who are about to throw them into an incinerator.
 
...But I escaped because it was actually the Master's TARDIS. Now I just have to deal with the Master...

The next poster is being attacked by killer lemons!
 
...But I escaped because I used alchemy to reshape the steel into having an opening, and got out through there.

The next poster is turned into a Gremlin and exposed to sunlight (which is fatal to Gremlins).
 
...But I escaped because I used an action-replay device to turn the Missingno into a Gengar, taught him to use Fly, and flew off to a Pokémon centre!

(I did actually have a Gengar in one of the Sinnoh region games that I taught the move Fly to by using an action-replay device code to allow any Pokémon to learn any TM move. It was fun!)

The next poster is trapped in a story, and the hero mistimed their entrance into the scene and fell into molten lava, burning to death.
 
...But I escaped because I had snuck into there with a teleportation device to rescue them, and used the device to teleport them and myself back into the ocean to freedom! Being grateful for this, they don't eat me.
