Yeah, I've been told I have no life alot of times. I know it too. I like others here, am really shy IRL so I can talk to people much easier online rather than talking to random people at the mall or something.
 
Oh, my gosh, totally! I do need to get a life, but I really don't want to. I can't live without the internet, honest. xP
 
My parents complain that I use the and computer and the net too much, but what can they do about it? I'm addicted to the net! :D
 
Er, yeah, whenever my parents see me, they say: "You've been using the computer too long..." And as for my friends, they don't say anything, because I ain't got any. >___>
 
It happens quite a lot for me. My parents don't even go out that much, they just want me off the laptop. Pressuring me to do something such as spending more time watching television with them, considering I rarely watch TV anymore. Although, I do admit that I don't have much conversations with them, but that's basically it. They complain about it a lot, but I usually try not to argue back because they can be correct, it just gets irritating when they repeat the same thing over again. My real life friends seem to not have a big problem with me chatting with online people, and it's not as if I'm becoming less attached to them.
 
I've been told numerous times by my dad that I spend too much time on the computer. And I don't dare tell him what I do while I'm on the computer (Watching anime, chatting with freinds who are not from my school, etc.), cause then he'd just freak out xD. I recall a few times I'd be chatting with an online freind, and he'd come and demand who I was talking to, and I'd have to give him the name of a freind of mine from school. And then I'd end up worrying that he'd find out I was lying to him...

Yeah, life's stressful at my place xD;;
 
My parents don't say that to me, but other people do. *shrugs* What exactly is "not having a life", anyway? I have friends and hobbies; a few of which I just happen to be obsessed with. D:
 
I used to be that person who would constantly make fun of people publically, telling them to get a life, acting like I was so much cooler than they were...

HAHAHA...now I find myself on a pokemon messgae forum.

Yeah, I really do need to get a life, don't I?
 
I've been consistently frequenting web forums for 6 years now...it's the only kind of social interaction that I felt comfortable with at the young age of 13...and I have to admit that during the long years of teenagerdom, the social interaction I had on the interwebs is what helped me to be able to better interacet socially to real people. I'm still what you would call "Socially Awkward", but I tend to make that my "thing" when interacting with other guys and the occasional girl (:o). However, my mom never gets off of my back about how I never go out with any friends...but that can be ewasily cured by me moving out. >_>
