Suggestion: Calendar widget

Hi all, I was talking with some friends, and the subject birthdays came up, which reminded me of an idea I had a short time ago. I was thinking how it might be an idea to have a calendar widget: a little widget on your profile page, which would display a little calendar. It would highlight all the b-days of the people in your friendslist of the displayed month, holidays, and for example things like PC's anniversary. I imagine it would look something like this. And maybe then if you hover over the date which is highlighted, it'd tell you what that date holds.

I know that at the bottom of PC forums page, it shows all the b-days of that day, but I thought it might be convenient to know in advance, for example with making celebration threads. You can't really know the b-day of all the people in your list from the top of your head, and this would maybe be a nice reminder. If it works out, then events like Get-togethers could maybe also be displayed (even though there is a notification at the top for most things like that, it would still be convenient I think).

I have no idea if this would work considering codes and stuff like that, I don't know much about that, but I thought it was worth suggesting. If it works then I think that you'd be able to make it private, just like your album.

Idea was inspired by a conversation I head with Andy and Marcin, about Andy being JUST in time, by like 11 minutes, for making Marcin's birthday thread.

This would be a great idea seeing I don't really scroll down at the bottom of the page to know whether it's my friend's birthday, I mean it'd be easier for us since we view our profiles all the time. :'3

But yeah, I'm not sure if they could implement it. o3o

I think it's a neat idea too if to keep track of things. IDK how necessary or feasible it is to add to PC though, but the concept is neat and I imagine would get a fair bit of use from some people. (Especially given the whole celebrations forum we have here. I may have been part of the chat Yoshi mentioned too, heh).

This is actually a pretty cool idea and would really help a lot with remembering birthdays, which I'm sure myself and many others are pretty bad at. I definitely approve of it, as well as Drakow's dark presence herein.

This is a great idea, really useful for remembering birthdays and other events. I'd use it.

There is an actual birthday calendar, so it might be possible to get that calendar re-purposed for something like this. In fact, events can be placed in there by staff, if my memory serves.
