It's not just about having "the right parts". He'll always have the Y chromosome in every single cell of his, so he will always be a boy. This is the biological reality of it. Besides, any changes to his physical appearance will always be fake.

It actually seems like the mother wanted him in there more. I wouldn't be surprised if the mother is pushing some of this on him.


Are they actually a girl? No, then they are pretending. You all think though that as long he believes, then that makes them a girl (as demonstrated in the latter part of your post). There is no contradiction at all, because what I say is merely pretending, you say is believing. If I pretend/believe I am a girl, then according to you lot, I am.

I could go through a psychological and mental type of change towards the path of becoming a transpeciest chicken, so it isn't unrelated. It's the same thing: a person pretending to be something they're not. It's still the same thing even if they've convinced themselves and everyone else around them that it's reality.

yes, the child will always be biologically male, but she will be female regardless of what parts she has.
if she knows she's a female in a male's body, then her mind is right, and she should be called 'female'. disregard her body, her mind is the important part.
for the record, NEVER refer to a trans* person as male or female based on their body. ever.

if the girlie wants to sell cookies with other girls, let her. don't take her lack of ladyparts into account, because her biology doesn't know a thing compared to her mind.

also, trans* people are doing no such thing. no trans* person is pretending to be anything. it's not a goddamn walk in a field of flowers, friend. nobody wants to be trans*, they only want their body and their gender to match up. calling it pretend is, quite blankly, disgusting and ignorant.

please do not tell a trans* person that they will never be the gender they know they are.

i can't exactly figure out a way to word this post nicer than i have already, because quite frankly, it made me more than just a little upset. please educate yourself, you are incredibly ignorant.



also! there is no age where being trans* is valid. you can be 7 years old and feel like you're in the wrong body. as soon as you can think by yourself, you can decide whether or not you are a boy or a girl, regardless of what is or isnt between your legs. and as i said, it ain't a walk in the park. there is no easy way for a child to make a mistake in this kind of thing. it takes months/years of therapy to even be considered to be trans*, and then another few months/years of having to prove it. if the child is wrong, they will learn along the way. they don't let people make mistakes on this kind of thing! which, for some, is a pain in the butt, but whatever.
