    in grades 3-12 (i think) u have to take a test called TONYSS (Test Of New York State Standers) has anyone taking them yet or got their score back from it?

    I have taking it but i haven't gotting the schore back. :'(

    Are you talking about those city and state-wide tests?
     
    they r also called the ELA (Englash Langudge Arts)(<<< not spelled right)
    they r test all of NY takes i think? umm... i think every one takes them in may?

    OH yeah. I took that test.
    There was a math one also right?
    Those are standardized tests.

    Btw to answer your other question, I think you get it near the last day of school. Also it's written down on your report card.
     
    yaa there is a writing and math part. i took mine in may thou. What is the biggest project u have every done?

    My biggest project would be the science project. :P
    That was probaly the only project I had this year. XD

    May? I took mine on late April.

    Btw, I thought the 3rd grade test was much harder than the 4,5,6 and 7th grade test because you had to write while on the rest, it was just multiple choice. :P
     
    teehee, we have to take the MEAP... i dont know what it stands for but meh we do,... its sooo boring. We had to write a story XD
     
    i'm doing a project on canada. we have to make a map on that province/territory and make a booklet. does anyone have Cursor Mania or(and) Smiley Central? I have both and right now my cursor is a tank that drives than stops and fires.
     
    I live in NJ, and we take the Cat Test in 3rd grade, ESPA in 4th, Terra Nova 5-7th, GEPA in 8th. That's all I know, but they all suck.
     
    CAT test? I had to take that back in the first grade...odd thing is that it's the California Achievement Test but I was in Ohio o_O

    And where do they come up with some of these other names? I know a lot of them are anagrams, but Terra Nova? That's just a freaky name for a test o_o;;
     
    XD yeah it does! I think it means "new earth" in latin or greek though...but still, translated literally that doesn't make it any less strange o_O;;. I'll stick to anagrams, I think :P

    LMAO.

    Next year I'm going to have to take GEPA. I hate tests that last for more than 2 days...
