6th Gen Cameo Appearances?

Cynthia will almost definitely make a comeback, seeing how much GF loves her. xD I'm waiting for N too! If N makes a return, I'll squeal with joy. <3 I'm also voting on the Looker, perhaps.. Possibly the B/W or the B/W2 protagonists, silent and strong. Oh, and Silver too! Goodness, I want to see everyone return. I can't choose! Omaigosh ahaha. xD xD

If Hilbert and Hilda do return, then I hope they aren't silent. That's sort of Red's trademark, and it's part of his lore. But I agree that people put their own personalities into their player character, so I think they shouldn't give them too much. Make them a sort of generic hero, or something, but don't make them silent, because that would make me MAD.

Maybe they can only appear when connecting to your original B/W and B2/W2 games maybe? Kind of like Memory Link, in a way, so that they'll relate a little to your original character.

In my opinion, I'd actually prefer the silent treatment over generic dialogue ─ especially for a character we might have once played as. I know it may seem like a Red thing, but considering the character is someone we gave our own personality to, giving them some generic heroic statement would be more disappointing to me. It would just seem so robotic. The silence adds a sense of mystery and imagination in my opinion.

In my opinion, most of the playable characters in the main games don't really say anything other than "Yes or No" answers. So that's why I think Hilbert or Hilda would be silent if they do make an appearance in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. And that's just the charm about the main Pokémon games, they are different from the anime or anything else that is based off the games. ;)

If Hilbert/Hilda do make an appearance, what would their teams consist of?

Hilbert may have Zekrom while Hilda has Reshiram, and the remaining five members could include their Starter (Based on your decision), their elemental monkey, Archeops/Tortuga, Braviary/Mandibuzz, and Gothitelle/Reuniclus.

Now, that's based solely on version opposites.

I'd love to see Crasher Wake return (once again) in X and Y! He's been in every game except Black and White since his Diamond and Pearl debut. Oh, and Cynthia too, she's been in literally every game since Diamond and Pearl. Maybe we'll be visiting her home region this time around, because she's not from any region we've seen so far.

I'm expecting a Champion from another region to show up again *cough*Cynthia*cough*....or Alder/Iris.

I'm almost 100% certain Professor Oak will be included somewhere in the game. As Pokémon's main stream games are finally introduced into a fully 3D game, it seems it's only fitting to see our favourite professor in such a graphics switch.

I'd definitely love to see some more cameo appearances from the past games. Maybe having some involvement with the storyline instead of popping up for ten seconds and disappearing like Jasmine did. I'd love to see some throwbacks to Kanto especially, maybe having some sort of family members of the Gym Leaders being over in the new region to fill its gyms?

I wanna see N. I don't care what he's doing but just for N to matter again would just mean he's the new... Ash/Red of the series in a way. :3

I don't know if N will ever get as far as replacing Red, but I could see him making a surprise cameo in X and Y. It would be interesting if these games were somehow taking place in the past and we met N as a child.

I would love to see some groundbreaking game where a lot of old awesome characters appear to save a region or something. For me the most epic story line where I genuinely felt the game world was in danger was the Hoenn one, with all that extreme weather and what not, closely followed by Unova (B/W not B2/W2, none of this flying ice ship crap) & Sinnoh. So in an ideal world I would love some story line where the region was in real danger where everyone is there to help, and the new protagonist gets to fight alongside N, Gold, May, Wallace you name it, with assistance from Oak, Elm, Juniper, Birch, Bianca and whoever else against some of the old evil forces like Giovanni or Silver, maybe even Gary/Blue could appear, particularly if Oak comes back as well! Something that really puts a mark on all the awesome games and characters there has been, that would be a real treat for long term players, and the old protagonists could be with their respective legendaries (like how N appears in B2/W2) etc etc.

More realistically though, hasn't Crasher Wake appeared quite a few times lately? He could be involved again, I quite like him anyway.

I may be one of the only people, but...I'd rather see Professor Birch make a cameo than Professor Oak *waits to hear all the 'le gasp!' from the readers*. It would be funny if he got into a similar situation to what happened on Route 101. If not, perhaps Steven or Wallace.

I think N's essential to Pokemon now and making him take on a Red role wouldn't be that bad imo given how big he was... :x

Also Birch probably won't be appearing. Maybe might get a mention but idk I don't see the Hoenn professor coming here.

N was a pretty essential and important figure to Fifth Gen, but I wouldn't say he's become an essential character overall.

As odd as it might be, I wouldn't mind Professor Birch making a cameo instead of Professor Oak. Birch studied Pokémon behavior in the wild which usually lead to a lot of field work. There wouldn't need to be too much reason for his appearance if he did show up. Although, I'm sure many would take it as a sign of possible RSE remakes!

Steven was in heartgold/ soulsilver. He informed you about latios/latias and was there when you get the event one so i don't think he will come back but who knows.
