[Graphics] Can someone explain to me how to locate and edit the Palette's used for all instances of the protagonist's sprite!

    I simply want to change the dark red and light red used for the trainers hat and jacket to a dark blue and light blue respectively. I remember reading that other things use the same Palette such as the open door arrow and exclamations I am hoping that these will also change to light/dark blue. Pic for attention!

    Download Nameless Sprite Editor Classic
    Open the rom you wish to edit
    Cycle through the available sprites using the right and left arrows to the right of the word "index" until you find the sprite you wish to edit the palette of.
    Once you have the correct sprite displayed in Nameless Sprite Editor click the edit drop down menu and then click palette.
    Now pick a color you wish to replace and after, using the sliders/numbers, decide what new color you want it replaced with.
    BE CAREFUL WHEN SAVING AS THERE IS NO UNDO! As well as this certain palette's are used for multiple sprites so changing the Palette of one sprite will most likely change the Palette of other sprites. So please make a backup rom every time you wish to edit a palette or you might be left with unwanted changes.
    Click save and viola now you have the same sprite with slightly different colors!

    I still need help finding the non-overworld Sprites as Nameless Sprite Editor 2.0 has a very incomplete sprite list as such I can find the regular trainer sprite but not the intro trainer sprite at the beginning of the game! Also any help on nameless sprite editor would help cause i have no idea how to find all the sprites i need to and i have not found any info on it through google searches. (Been looking for a few hours today) People just give you the offsets you'd need for the tutorial but none tell you how to find the offsets yourself. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
     
    Editing intro sprites are not as simple as editing the overworlds. They uses more than 16 palettes. 96x64 size iirc.
    It is complicated but learnable.
    Go watch this video and jump straight to 12:40

    ALTERNATELY Try using NSE.X and use Delta's bookmark if you just only want to edit the palette the easy way

    Thanks for the tips! It seems extremely complex to edit the intro and it seems almost harder to find the info im looking for because i am just looking to edit the palette and nothing else. I have to disect the tutorials and pick and choose which info is necessary for what i need. As most tutorials cover more than just the palettes locations and how to edit them. But thanks again! I will try and post some pictures and maybe a tutorial on all protagonist's palettes and how to find edit them. In case anyone is looking to do something similar to what i am.

    Just a palette change is not very complex. Just open up the correct offset in Advanced Palette Editor and you can edit it from there if you like. Check this post for the palettes of the intro sprites: https://www.pokecommunity.com/posts/9815598
     
    If you only want to edit the palette, please read the ALTERNATE part.

    Delta's Bookmark also allow you to edit the flying animation, so you gotta need it anyway.
     
    Actually, flying animation also uses hero's palette. And i see you have edited the hero overworld to blue.
    So when you use the flying animation, it will not be buggy by default.

    But still there are a lot of graphic which you can edit if you use the bookmark. Like the hero backsprites, etc.
    It won't hurt to check it.
