I was just wondering if that was allowed o: Thanks for anyone who answers.

PS: This is a serious question by the way :\

Nope, no member of the forums are allowed to use foul language or swear.

It states so in the rules.

Doesn't seem to stop a lot of people anyway =/ Well nobodies supposed to but I don't think that rules enforced enough.

Uhh... they aren't supposed to, no. :/ PM me a link to the situation you're talking about though so I can look into it.

No moderators cannot use fowl language mainly because members might not know how to speak chicken.
Seriously though whoever did so should not and is a bad little mod.

Okay, I'm assuming this isn't pointing so someone of the smods so I'll just answer right away.

If you've read the rules, especially this section:
    The Almighty PC Rules said:
Swearing and censor bypass is not allowed.
It is not permitted to swear on the community - along with that, most known words are blocked. Censor bypass is also disallowed - that is, censoring a part of a swear word so that it isn't blocked out but the original word is implied.
you should've known the answer to that question.
And it is no. No one is allowed to use foul language here at PC.

Try to check the rules (and FAQ) before posting questions.

Well. Considering the rule is to stop Children from reading them, I don't see why they would let Super Mods swear. It'd defeat the object really :/

I believe this is about a blog a certain unnamed S-Mod posted...

But, we really shouldn't be using fowl language period, but not all the words we typically use are censored.

I don't know any super mods that would, but then again, I only know one of them. They shouldn't, though. Like it's been stated, it's in the rules not to, and I doubt any of the current staff would be doing that right now.

To be frank, I don't see what's wrong with saying the censored words repeatedly, I don't think any kids are going to run around saying **** or *****. If the word isn't censored, then maybe it's not all that bad... or the censors are lame.

Excessive swearing can get you infracted, or at least that's what happened with me.

    Hahaha...

OF COURSE they are not supposed to.

HOWEVER, the evil lazy staff allows themselves to swear in the chatroom :(

I may be new here, but you would think that, in order to set a good example for the rest of the members, that any rule in place for members goes twofold for any staff members. It's not good to put rules in place and then not follow them yourself. It's hypocritical.

So why you would think that it would be ok for the Super Moderators here to bypass their own rules is beyond me. Maybe some people think that once you're put in a seat of power the rules don't apply.

No, we don't allow fowl language on the board. Unless you're speaking chicken, then it's permissible.
Foul language, on the other hand, isn't allowed either. It's been taken care of, so I'mma close this thread.
