4th Gen can you choose which pokeball a hatched pokemon goes to?

    noobish question but I wondering if it is possible to get an egg in a luxury ball.
     
    Nope I don't think you can, it's automatically just a regular Pokeball.
    A random page popping up asking me which Pokeball I want my newly hatched Pokemon to be in has never happened before when I hatched eggs, so...yeah. xD
    So there you have it. xD

    Does it use a pokeball from your bag. I want to say that at least the old games did. What if you only had a certain type in your bag?
     
    All eggs hatch in Pokeballs and they don't remove any from your bag. In the future, please use the Q&A thread.
