Can't use Pokémon in battles?

    Hey I'm a bit new to Pokémon but I wanted to try battling on sun/moon so I transferred some of my Pokémon from omega ruby to moon using Pokémon bank but whenever I try to use my favourite Pokémon it says there's a problem with one or more but I don't know what it is ;-;

    I'm not sure if some of the Pokémon I have are cheated or not because I got my copy of OR off eBay and it had 33 boxes full of shinies so I transferred them, is there any way to tell? Thank you :)
     
    Where exactly in the game are you trying to use these Pokemon? In Battle Spot or the Battle Tree or just for the main story or what?
     
    Oh sorry I meant online in battle spot - I've tried both rated and just free battling but neither work
     
    I can only guess that they are hacked with that many shinies (though its not impossible) especially since the game won't even allow you to use them online.

    What pokemon have you tried using btw?
     
    Rated battles iirc ban certain Pokemon (mainly box legendaries). Besides that, you'll want to check them to see if they have things that are the marks of obvious hacks: moves the can't possibly have, caught locations that aren't possible for that Pokemon, stats that are beyond what that species can get to, abilities it can't have, shinyness when they can't be obtained in a shiny form, stuff like that. The hack check is, afaik, not terribly good and can't spot anything more than that--if the Pokemon was genned but everything is still within legal parameters it should be fine.

    The game also doesn't let you have more than one Pokemon hold the same item or have more than one of the same species on a team, though idk if that's only for rated or not.

    The summaries say the stats aren't above the max so idk if that's it but it says they're caught in the Kalosmand Unova region etc. so they're not all the same:/ then again idk where each of them are caught really so I can't tell if it's the correct location anyway :|

    Ah. It's probably the Zygarde. Pretty sure that can't be obtained legally as a shiny. The rest don't have anything that I can see that seems strange to me (though I can't remember if Diancie can be legally obtained as a shiny or not either).
     
    I'm pretry sure shiny Diancie is possible now.

    Another thing for some event pokemon is what pokeball they happen to be in.

    Yeah I'm really confused, I don't know what's wrong with them but I've tried multiple teams of 3 Pokémon hoping one would work but I keep getting the same error :c

    They really are probably all hacked. That Diancie for sure because after a quick look there's no Diancie that's possible in a Pokeball. It would have had to have been in a Cherish Ball and the Ot.

    Ahh okay, guess it's safe to assume that they're all hacked then tbh lol, thanks for the help though :)
