Hello, I'm new here so apologies in advance if I messed up anything with the posting. Today I was going through my old Pokemon cards to sell and I came across a very unusual gold holo drapion lv. 41. I went through hundreds of pokemon cards over the past week and all were identifiable. This variation of Drapion however has no official existence that I could find. The closest thing I could find was a vague post on this site of someone with a similar question and someone on reddit with the same question to which they told him it was most likely fake. However, I have my doubts that it ia fake as when I was younger (around 2007 was when I was buying) I never traded with anyone and I only purchased my cards from legitimate pokemon packs and box sets in the store. Is it possible that this could be a misprint? Or a very uncommon rarity? I have attached a pic for your reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It's a counterfeit:

    • Fonts are off slightly (the "D" in "Drapion" should be wider and the numbers bolder)
    • "Pokemon" lacks the accented "é"
    • Energy icons bloated compared to those on official DP-era cards
    • The "c" in "Poison claws" should be capitalized
    • "Daws" in the 'dex entry should be "claws"
No official misprints have this many errors. Compare the back of the card to your official cards and you may notice a difference there as well (like the graphic being darker or fuzzy).
