Eh? I posted this thread, but it didn't show up when I clicked the submit button. Oh well. Forgive me if this is a double or something...
Sweet! This is a revive of The Mutation Case, an RPG that died a LONG time ago. Personally, I was fascinated by the plot and decided to touch it up with the help of the old RP master, who still dwells in Neopets. Plus, I haven't managed an RP in ages so forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. Here goes:
In the world of around 250 years in the future, there are robots, clones, cyborgs, and many intelligent pokemon living together. And then there is TPIA, TRAINERS AND POKEMON INTELLINGENCE AGENCY. The organization has spies, detectives, etc. Now there are some devices that can translate pokemon speech, too. Intelligence can be inserted, cars are dead oldschool, and life is fabulous for the rich and terrible for the needy. The story takes place in the city of Metrogates, new capital of Hoenn. But it appears that in the city, someone appears to be making a sort of mutation potion for pokemon, sometimes known as Kontra. It appears to make the pokemon larger, stronger, more defensive, and more healthy. But it makes them listen to only one person: the creator of the potion. So everyone knows that is a bad thing, and it's up to the young but experienced members of TPIA to come to the rescue! However, it is simply and option to become a spy and be on the Kontra case. You are allowed to be an outlaw, an antagonist (eh, but you have to PM me about that one), a normal trainer, a spy working on some other case, or just some ordinary person.
Okay, first of all, our characters don't go rushing in yelling "KONTRA CASE! GIMME!". 3 spies are to be selected for the case, NOT including my character. The members who want to apply for the Kontra Case may state so in the signup sheet. (Spies call Kontra C344, short for Case 344. It shall remain as a nickname for the case, and the name of the RPG XD). To the member who doesn't get the case but wants it: that's just too bad, but I'll probably sign you up on a better or something like that. People who apply as wanting the Kontra case may be assigned the job by the big leader of the TPIA, Mr. Terossis, at the HQ.
Meeting place: HQ front, where there has been an explosion by a X2000, a advanced teleportation vehicle, used for transportation of course. XD
Fact files:
A C22 is another teleportation vehicle, just less fast and a bit larger.
COM-92s are expensive. Most citizens use COM-20s, which LOOK exactly like COM-92s but actually function slower, have less space (only 34 GB, while the 92 model holds 100 GB).
There is a lot of murder in Metrogates.
The TPIA HQ is located in the middle of the city, which is located in a former volcano. There are 'levels' in the city, an idea taken a bit from the movie 'Metropolis'. XP There's a lot of stealing from that movie. Well, level 1 is where all the people with tiny budgets or no budget at all dwell. Outside of the high hills surrounding Metrogates are nothing but desert and plains for miles. However, the city itself has fair weather most of the time and stretched out as long as the eye can see.
Look out for a group of cyborgs. They have many nicknames, but TPIA calls them ORISON-HELL. Literally, "Orisons from hell". The cyborgs hate all TPIA members, children or adults, nice people or bad people. They are known for kidnapping, even killing spies. However, they should not take too much control on the plot as the leader of the ORISON-HELL will not be the main antagonist.
The HQ of TPIA is a 200 floor skyscraper with soundproof, breakproof glass counting the levels that go underground. Outside is stairs, columns, and statues of legendary pokemon. (If you've seen the movie Metropolis, just picture it as the outside of the Ziggurat but if you haven't just go along by my description)
I will explain clues, suspects, etc on the way.
Rules:
1) Okay, this RPG may be PG-13, but that doesn't mean you can simply shoot like heck and let peoples' guts go everywhere. Be careful; we don't want this RP to dwell on violence too much.
2) Guess what? I allow kissing, hugging, and in general: romance. Just as long as it doesn't include- er- 'primitive sexual activity', or 'complicated sexual activity' for all that darn matter. -_- It's sickening and I'm only ten years old. (I know what you're thinking: "WTH is a 10 year old doing being the RPG master of a PG-13 RP?" DON'T ASK. XP)
3) Language? Teensy tinsy amounts, PUH-LEEZE. No f-words or anything, okay? NEVER. And no disgusting body functions either. If you do, I'll hack you! Nah, maybe not but it WILL be bad, and you might be kicked out.
4) I don't want a cardboard character with the personality of a character from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Do I make myself clear? Watching the movie was sickening enough, but having a nice RPG like that? NOOOO way.
5) If a member who has signed up makes a post, and then in 40 posts I don't see another posts from that member, without a good explanation that member is OUT of ze game. DIE, BAD EGGS!
6) If you're going to have some artistic license (adding in your own antagonists or something) you'd better warn me first.
7) All other RPG rules apply.

Interests: She LIVES for TPIA as I said before. She has no interests in anything else, therefore there is a bit of a mess everywhere around her.
