I have been out of the hacking game for a very very long time now (about a decade) and was trying to get back in recently thanks to all of these amazing advancements that have been made by the community. I decided that I wanted to try and add the Complete Fire Red Upgrade and Dynamic Pokemon Expansion (as well as a few other additional add-ons) but I am getting confused by when to add it. Should I do all of my basic mapping, scripting, etc. first and then add these add-ons or do I want to include them first before doing all of the other work? Also, is it pretty much universal that 1.0 and 1.1 versions of Fire Red work with these types of add-ons or is there a recommended version that I should be using? Thank you all so very much in advance for the assistance!

1)theorically only once you're rom is done, but you can apply anytime you want to test your progess, if something is wrong correct it on your base rom BPRE0, not in Test.gba
2)it supports only v1.0, if you want to use 1.1 you'll have to check each and every ROM and RAM offset that the CFRU uses(most of them are in hooks, repoint and BPRE.ld and make them match the ones of v1.1)
