for me, it's alder..perhaps because of his volcarona..I like volcarona

That Cynthia was An AMAZING Distinguishable Character. She was pretty, wise, powerful, she was like a full person. I love her team, not that I love the pokemons, but I mean her combination. Lance is specialized in dragons, so he has an obvious weakness. Cynthia uses a combination of PkMn to cover her weaknesses. She is amazing, I am most impressed by her Garchomp. She definitely wins my vote, she can sweep all other Champions including Lance.

MAN! Have you even see the way she defends her Title of Champion?!?! She wiped out all the Memebers of the E4, most likely with her GARCHOMP! She is sooo coool! That's why D/P was one heck of a foreshadowing series, I have this feeling that Ash will have a match with Cynthia....someday.....he promised. That Battle would be EPIC.

Cynthia. I beat the others easily and she was the only champion to beat me 5 times in Pearl (4 years ago) and 1 time in Platinum(3 years ago). She is my favourite champion

Wat~~? No Red despite that he is strongest champion of his era? Gonna Pick Blue then. He defeat Lance once. If he want to take the title champion again I'm sure he can do it but maybe he only want to do that if Red is champion instead.
But competition in one league that oversee two region must be a hard one.

Sorry, but in my book it is:
Red>Blue>Alder>Steven>Wallace>Cynthia>N
Despite their team.
For me, it's more like:
Red>Blue>Lance>Cynthia>Steven>Alder>N>Wallace.
Alder and Steven are only a little lower than Cynthia though.

People don't give steven and wallace nough credit =/ Though I agree when you factor in levels and strategy cynthia seems to be the toughest. And most attractive.

Blue - From a personality stand point I love his attitude. He is the first and only rival too become champ which I would like to see a return to that dynamic. He has a well balanced team which I like to see from a Champ. His teams as a Champ and Gym Leader are just as good as anime champ imo.

Red - His team is alright but not the best. Woo all starters, Snorlax, Pikachu, Lapras/Espeon. Not bad but the preference is blue since like in the anime all starters are just too generic. But again he doesn't revolve around one type like other champs.

Lance - Seriously three Dragonite at times... Or Dragonair. I want a Champ that doesn't share the same species as one another. Or too be at a point where his pokemon isn't fully evolved(although not as a Champion). On top of this he is one of the champs that is a specialist, for me I want a Champ with variety.

Steven - Although he "supposedly" specializes in Steel types he has two fossils and Claydol, that's hardly specializing in one type when half his team is only Steel. Too me Steven is middle of the road for all the champs. I like his team like Metagross, Skarmory, Aggron, Armaldo. I think it would have been bettered to make him more of a specialist in it maybe give him another steel like Steelix. All in all not overly impressed.

Wallace - Probably my least favorite Champ, not only cause his team isn't really that great to me, but also he specializes in Water which I am not really a bad fan of that typing. Nor pokes on his team like Tentacruel(shoot see enough of these while surfing), Whiscash(awesome typing, but too me it would have been neat if they have Swampert instead). Gyarados and Milotic are good stuff though (=.

Cynthia - She is just a notch above Blue and Red too me. She has the best typing mix 5 out of her 6 pokemon being dual typed. Garchomp and Lucario alone are badass. They did a great job replacing Gastrodon with Togekiss. It already made a excellent team even better. She is definitely involved through out the storyline like Alder was. That is something I didn't care for Steven and Wallace.

Alder - Aside from Volcarona his team is "alright" I am not overly impressed with Alder. I think it would be a bit better if they replaced his Bug types with some other pokes(outside of his anchor Volcarona). I do like his involvement in the story like though, as well as the Gym Leaders.

I'll say it is Cynthia. She beats Alder by several notches. Lance won't even dream of nearing her for a challenge. She has diversity and a grand arsenal of moves to match. Spiritomb was highly irritating for me and then, that Gastrodon with a sneaky Ice Beam. Cynthia also displays how any Pokemon, understimated ones, can be as good as one can think. Like her Roserade, which I didn't know could learn Extrasensory. I always thought it weak because of Budew's beginnings. And she has that Garchomp to be her trump cards. Her Togekiss is quite amazing too. If I daresay her Milotic can win Juan's/Wallace's. =P

Cynthia FTW!!

Cynthia for 4 reasons:

1. Well-rounded team, with 1-2 changes through the games.
2. Spiritomb, whom I cannot get(curse being unable to hook up to wifi TT_TT).
3. First girl champion, and actually is involved in parts of story in SEVERAL games(less so in HG/SS).
4. She is sexy. Nuff said. ;)

Almost all the champions have something about them that I like, but Cynthia was the toughest to beat, imo.

Cynthia- Smart, Attractive, and has a really good overall team. Loved her appearances throughout the game(s) as well.

Steven- I actually liked Steven in that he had more of a mysterious but helpful presence.

Alder- He seemed pretty smart as well(despite his team, maybe they are just his favorites). I also liked his appearances and how he helps out less experienced/new trainers.

Blue- Was nice to have a snobby champion for once, lol. His attitude made the early games that more interesting, imo.

Lance- With all the new pokemon, etc. out now, of course it's going to seem like he sucks. Take out all the new generations/pokemon and Lance was actually tough to beat back in the day.

Wallace- Taking out him having a Water based team, he actually was a decent champion. I actually liked his 'elegant' take on being a champion, brought some life to the Gen 3 E4.

Red(not in the poll)- ....Wow. The king of mysteriousness, not much to say there, lol.

Im going to with Blue, he was the only Champion I found to be really difficult when I first faced him. Cynthia was alright, but when you only 3 Pokemon to beat the E4 and the Champion, Yeah...

Blue - In FireRed & LeafGreen he has a really good team when you rematch him. His Pokemon can counter you with powerful & super effective types which makes it an exciting battle! :)

Red (Not on list) - Team = AWESOME! Using all three starters evolved to their full strength & his Pikachu, Snorlax, & Espeon/Lapras made it an epic battle! I almost lost when I rematched him! :O

Lance - Weak, cheater (Dragonite in the Level 40s). In the HG SS rematch he was still easy but a bit better than before.

Steven - Pretty good champion, the battle theme was awesome & he was a great champion to battle.

Wallace - Like Steven pretty good champion with an awesome battle theme.

Cynthia - She was tough for me, luckily Torterra helped me out & defeated her.

Alder - Not the best champion...

Isn't Red sort of a champion? Oh well, it was a tough decision between Blue & Cynthia. Blue has a really organized team & if you chose weaknesses of his Pokemon he can counter them with a move super effective on you. On the other hand cynthia was hard for me to take down but luckily my Torterra took her down. So I would have to say Blue.
