Chances in appearance with pokemon

Wow, that is really interesting. The Moltres one scared the heck out of me.
 
Heh. Pikachu used to be such a tubby l'il pocket monster. But that one image (I don't think I've seen that before) Pikachu looked kinda strange with a white stomach pattern. I can see why they eventually dropped that idea.

I remember the first picture I ever drew of the little mouse... He had tiny, nubby arms and legs and big cheeks.
 
Wow that is interesting, I think the pikachu one was quite dramatic, changing from genl to lV

And mew too has had changes :/ I think with the years rolling by, pokemon gets more into a 'feel' instead of strange gen. 1 creations, and it's like they're finally settling in..
 
Its really interesting too see, I actually have a Pikachu figure in the first generation design and one from the third generation design. It is just incredible to see how much they have changed.
 
Hmmm.. Mew surely has improved drastically from the first gen..
It's like any manga, the first and the latest episode seems so different
