I'm not being noobish. I was justing wondering if there was a possibilty, but there isn't, you guys are the ones that are causing more posts...
 
You guys didn't have to spam or flame within this thread. A simple no and an understanding of that no was all it was needed. Would someone lock this thread?
 
I honestly don't know why you guys don't just follow the advie given to you of creating a new account. They have already given you a valid reason as to why you can't have your name changed. If you care that much, make a new account and tell your friends about it. Posts counts don't matter anyway. -__-
 
It might help if you knew what you were talking about.

PC has not allowed name changes for quite some time, and each and every person that asks is told the same thing: Make a new account.

Only people with access to the AdminCP are able to change user names, and even then it's a pain in the butt. if the name change is to be forum wide, and reflect on all your posts, you'd have to run maintenence, which as far as I know only Abby and Andy can do; and they already have enough to do as it is.

Not to mention that it gets confusing with people changing names suddenly. "So-and-so didn't say that! So-and-so2 did!" see waht it would turn into?

It's not worth the time and effort to do, and you have less than 100 posts: Deal with changing names. -_-;;
 
I must admit, I condemn name changes. They're just confusing and they annoy people. Not to mention they would be incredibly hard to execute -- if one person got their name changed for trivial purposes, it would mean we would have to let EVERYONE have their name changed. That... just doesn't work. It's too much of a hassle for those with CP access.

If you would like a new username, just register again. It'll mean you'll have to start fresh, but it's the only way to do it if you're not changing it because of a registering error like a typo. (Although sadly, it doesn't explain why some people have been allowed to have their accounts merged multiple times instead of starting fresh like the rest of us. -_-)

Anyway, I'll close this now since you've got your answer.
