6th Gen Changes in Models for Pokemon?

Yeah, just like parts of the light house in HgSs was a testing ground for the 3D style that will be utilized in Gen V.

This may mean that ORAS could use models with much less lag, but it's not so likely either. Though I agree that the current models are quite static and lifeless.

They will not renovate models, they already made the highest-fidelity ones they can for X/Y. They will likely change the animations if anything.
Personally I dont think they need to be changed.
Come to think of it, if they do change any, it will likely be Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza.

I agree that the models have no need to be changed for now, but the animations definitely need to be improved, I can't look at a pokemon gliding in place for the whole battle, if someone know what GF was thinking when they made Xatu, Skarmory and Charizard X animation please tell me.

I can't imagine how they would change... sprite positioning seemed easier because it was flat, 2D models and when they weren't animated, there were more possibilities of changing where they appeared, obviously. As for models, they're just... there haha

I just want them to FIX TORKOAL'S SMOKE, DANGIT! The sprite generations could make it actual smoke instead of part of its body, so why it it a static part of torkoal's model here?

They should. It seemed odd that it was treated more like solid mass rather than smoke.

I mean, extremely minor changes could be done, like a different body part moving then before, but like others have probably noted, it's much more difficult to alter 3D models than sprites. Plus, I don't think it'll take anything away from the games if they used the same models as X and Y. If the RSE sprites were used in B/W, though, it would look terrible.
