6th Gen Changes to Battle

haven't seen anyone discussing this quote

"I think these games are going to cause another huge change in the world of battling. They will be released in November of this year, so until then you'll still be battling using Pokemon X and Y," Morimoto said.

Any speculation on what this huge change will be?

Maybe it'll be something similar to Mega Evolution, but Hoenn style? Or more Megas? A changed battling system with better graphics?
