Can you? If so, how? And what are the long term effects of the changes? I just think that the ??? Type is outdated and not needed.

[Other] Changing the type of Eggs and Struggle and Curse?

Well, I'm not really sure about the egg thing, but it is quite easy to change the types of Struggle and Curse. All you need to do is load them in a move editing tool and change their types to a different one.

Changing the type of Curse is fine (I'm pretty sure they did that in Gen V anyway) but I'd avoid changing the type of Struggle. It's set to ??? so that no Pokemon is immune to it and that no Pokemon can resist it, and it's generally recommended to leave it there.

I'm like 99% sure Struggle doesn't actually take note of its type, and it was just set at ??? for the sake of it.
