    Does anyone else think that being able to customize what your trainer looks like is overdue?I'm not asking for some crazy nose and facial structure, probably just hair,skin tone, and clothing customizing.

    Moving to Pokemon Gaming Central because this is possible in future games and not really much use complaining that it wasn't possible in B/W. :3

    Well Trainer Customization is available in PBR. So they did technically make a game with a customizable trainer.

    I think this is one of the main weaknesses of the games. They don't really allow for that much customisation. Only to choose between two characters.

    I think we should be able to choose;
    skin tone
    hair colour
    eye colour
    clothes
    bag
    exactly what i was going with.the game is pretty much considered an RPG.why not treat the PC as an PPG PC?

    I really like the idea of being able to personally customize your character, even if it does just start off with a few minor tweaks.

    I like all the above ideas plus the choice of headwear being optional. :)

    yeah and there should be like clothing stores and barber shops that connect to wifi so you can see other peoples styles and get special styles.

    It's mostly pointless while the character is still being shown as a tiny sprite outside of battle, and only on-screen for a few seconds during battles.

    If we could see more of the character in detail while playing it'd probably be something not that hard to implement - see PBR.

    They already did this in PBR, and it was rather basic really. I could see them implementing it into the portable games when jumping to the 3DS. You could go to a clothes shop in the region's department store and buy and change your appearance.

    That'd be cool. Except I'd just end up making every trainer look like Brendan with different clothes/colors, since he was my favorite trainer by far. xD

    OMG I've been thinking this forever. Make up your own character instead of having to be a person Nintendo makes up. Make it more RPG like. I think I thought of this around like..Ruby/Sapphire and was surprised when they never made it a reality.

    I would sell my first-born for this feature in one of the main Pokemon games. My character could finally wear the cutest dresses ever (or a tuxedo, monocle, and top hat if I were to play as the guy).

    This would have also addressed one of my major complaints of B/W.

    I was hoping that they were going to do this in Generation Five, but I guess I was wrong.If they did it in Pokemon Battle Revolution, I honestly do not see the problem with them doing it again in any game that involves a character or even putting this feature inside of a Pokemon Black and White game

    This is one feature that I've been wanting for a long time, but Gen V didn't make it happen. It would have been nice to give my character different clothes or a different hairdo.

    you have to remember that black and white are not the full generation V, they are the FIRST of generation V.They are probably gonna made a pokemon grey and possibly a new set all together.(like remakes of ruby and saphire)

    I want them to do this so bad ;-;

    When they did it in Battle Revolution, I really thought they would have done it again by now. :(

    Been saying this for years come and join the list bro... I also want trainer levels so you feel like you, as a trainer, are processing & becoming better... Higher Level = High % chance of catching pokemon and stuff... Pokemon start out not listening to you but as you get higher in trainer levels the Pokemon will start to listen more and more... etc etc...

    If the game was an MMORPG... then yes. But otherwise there is really NO NEED to customize your appearance. It would just take up data that could be used to actually enhance the game. But I'm also one of those losers who dream of a Pokemon game that you can play on your hand-held and then go online, MMO style, via your console. So yeah, I'd love to see this, but only IF and WHEN the time comes when it'll be needed.
