Hey. I was wondering if anyone feels a bit off when someone calls Red from the original games Ash, and his rival Gary instead of Blue or Green.

Good question. I never really thought about it. I mean it's kinda annoying, but the people who do that usually have only seen the anime, so I'm not too bothered by it I guess.

I guess a 'bit off' is an apt way to put it. The feeling of someone being wrong, but not terribly so - or at least in an understandable sense.
