Well i was watching pokemon last night and i got up to the bit where paul was battling Roark and did any one else notice that Chimchar activated Blaze but did not go into brezerker mode lol can anyone explain this or was this just an error that the writers missed

that's actually a pretty good catch there i never noticed it before, well i think it was just clearly a error never noticed by the writers but i could be wrong i wonder what other people think

I think the Blaze just activated because it was tired, yet still able to fight. In the other instance, I believe it was in a dire situation with a lot of stress, so it was in more of a tight spot that time.

    Lol.

    I have an explanation.

Against Roark, it didn't hate it's enemy.

    Against Paul, it hated him.

But, how comes what was obviously Grotle's overgrow was explained as "oh, he ate his own attack, duh!".

Is chimchar/monferno/infernape(in japan in the next episode) the only one allowed to use his ability?
