Chris Brown & Rihana Incident

I'm impressed all of you have such strong opinions of this.

I doubt Chris Brown's career is over. Okay, let's be fair, he did something ridiculous and it's possible he won't be as popular. But have you even thought about other celebrities who have done things much worse, but have come back and are just as popular? (Need I remind you of Britney Spears? She had a breakdown and everyone thought her career was over. But now she's back and even more popular.)
Even though CB is a celebrity, he's still a human and has human emotions and the fact people are saying 'he's committed career suicide' or 'he's showing his true colours', well, so what if he is? There are still going to be a lot of people supporting CB through this. And again, he's a human, he's gonna make mistakes.

However, I do believe he needs to be prepared for a change in his life; whether it be his career, family life or otherwise.

Also, Rhianna might not get back with him, but hey that's life! You mess up, do something you regret and then you just get on with life.
 
Just live your life Rihanna, Chris Brown will most likely release a single to represent their relationship like Justin Timberlake made Cry Me a rive for Britney Spears and Britney made Everytime for Justin.

I get what you are saying but when your mistake is being a woman-beater things are different.

A woman-beater? He 'assaulted' her once; that doesn't make him a woman-beater!
"Woman-beaters" are people who repeatedly assualt and attack woman, and Chris Brown hasn't done that. :|

Hmm, you got a point there. I guess I was a little hard on him. Okay, he could make a comeback! Just like Britney did. ^^ Yeah there are many celebrities that did a lot worse, and they are not better off than they were before. I guess Chris will bounce back after this. He made a mistake and he admitted to it. He is getting help, so that is the right step. And for Rihanna, yeah I think she probably won't get back with him. Hopefully they will be still friends though. I want them to do some songs together in the future. If she is up to it that is.
 
He actually did not touch her. He only made criminal threats. It was all blown out of proportion.
 
Yep. Exactly. Photoshop had nothing to do with it. Magazines like Global Inquirer use real photos only and all that yippy. If you look it up you wold know what is true instead of believing what you just happened to hear or see at the grocery store check out line.

Also on this, I had been hearing the same stories too but I would believe the guy who turned himself in before the people looking to sell a story.

Um, many, many sources say that when he spoke about it, he apologized for what he did to her and hoped that she was doing well with her recovery. How you found information of him stating he didn't do anything is beyond me, and why you actually believed that enough to state that in this thread is even more shocking. Especially with so much evidence against him. He confirmed his actions by apologizing for what he did, obviously.
 
Okay, I saw him say what he said, but you read it. Its not important anyway, I ws just delivering you what I know. Take it or leave it.

You need to realize that by posting in a discussion thread such as this, people are going to disagree with what you say. If you're going to have that type of attitude, I suggest you not post in discussion threads for a while while you and remind yourself of that. The attitude of "take it or leave it" is accepted in opinionated threads, but seeing as how this is one with real discussion, that type of attitude is unnecessary if I do say so myself.

Well I said that because you dont seem to have even considered what I have said. Its as if you know you are right and Im not. Thats why I posted that way and I dont feel that the last comment was unnecessary. I meant it. Some will consider researching and some wont, am I right? Also if you can prove Im wrong I will man up to it. I know I can come off a bit strong sometimes.
 
Chris Brown definitely hit her.
There's reports this may not be his first time hitting her.
He comes from a family of abuse and this tends to increase the chances of the children because abusive as well.
It's a sad story and I'm glad the coverage has died down the last few days. All involved need their space.
 
Ya know, he has mentioned that he feared he would become like his father in that sense.

Okay, this is a discussion thread. Not a debate. I'm not going to waste my time and other members' patience arguing with you of matter of opinions. If you want to continue the topic of the matter of opinions in Other Entertainment, I highly suggest you send me a PM about it opposed to replying to this thread. If this continues, chances are it's going to lead into an argument, going to get off topic, and is going to get locked. With that said, I advise you to think before you decide to reply or not.
