Question: Christmas Event Carousel Notice

Well, I'm confused about the notice/announcement. :x I asked Hiiro and some others and they are puzzled as well...

Holding a Christmas event for PC? We're going to start maintaining a list detailing all Christmas events soon! This list will be posted from the 15th and will be open for edits until the 26th. Be sure to submit links to your holiday-themed event threads once you've made them by PMing Hiroshi Sotomura.
Should I post my idea in the list thread, then PM Hiroshi the thread link once the Christmas event has started? Or should I post it now in a section, then PM Hiroshi the link? Can someone explain please?

Thankyou, many of us have been wondering this. Where exactly do we post our threads?

Not really sure, but what I seem to get is
1) Get permission from the Mod of the appropiate section of your event
2) Post you event there
3) PM the link to Hiroshi

To know the events or how to get one, I dont really know

I don't understand why it wouldn't just be easier to have a dedicated forum, to be honest.

Ohh, I didn't see that update.

Thanks for the responses! This can be closed now.

Edit:
I don't understand why it wouldn't just be easier to have a dedicated forum, to be honest.
That would be more organized in my opinion.

That's how I thought it was going to be until I looked at this thread. XD But yeah, it was confusing me also, and a Christmas Event Carousel forum would've been nice.

The notice is for those (especially moderators) who intend to make a Christmas event or something. twocows for instance is holding a few Christmas-themed gaming events, so he needs to post something. If you're making a quick Christmas-themed word game or something, post it there too. If you're making an official graphics competition for Christmas, you PM the relevant moderator, organise it, post it, and stuff.
They're not "events" like the Halloween Haunt - they're completely independent, and we'll just be listing them in that thread.
But wouldn't be much easier for everyone just to make a section for the events. Instead of having to contact the moderator of the relevant section etc.?

I know they may be independent but it would be much easier and orgnaised for those who are hosting events, without having to do so many things just to make a thread. Unless it requires to much effort to make the section..
