CHRISTMAS EVENTS - Get your Christmas Thinking Hats On

    What events would you like to see?
    This thread is a follow on from the previous when talking about Get-Togethers
    Right. Christmas is just around the corner, and if you were in the discussion before about wanting more events, ie, Christmas, then this is the thread we need to get going.
    Do you have any events that you would like to see?
    -Skype Christmas Chat
    -Christmas Photography Contest
    -Christmas Gaming Event

    And so on. What I hope to do is bring the best ideas to the uppers and see if they will make a KINDA GT board, however it won't be labelled as a GT, since they want to keep it more exclusive.

    Hey, I like that idea. I think pokemon with ice would really make all the teams the same, but having a ice based time or something alone those lines would be very cool. Nice idea.

    You think just calling it an "event" instead of a "get-together" will make it more interesint after so many events this year? XD

    No really, I just don't think it'd be practical to hold something this year. I feel like it's already enough. It's just the same party under a different name.

    What is this for exactly? A mini-Get-Together, or has Jake stated that he'd be okay with having a Get-Together for the Holiday season?
     
    Mini get together. Only thing Jake's hinted at is winter one in like Jan, but probs not this year, so... XD;

    Idk how it'll be organised, so yeah :D;
     
    I feel, despite anything, that there should at least be a dedicated forum for that, then. A get together is usually a huge thing, and this could be the training wheels to determine if a larger one could be held depending on how many people join in. I think it's important to keep this as organized as possible, and I'd be more than willing to help out on that.

    I already have a few ideas for some events.
     
    I remember something about a supporter-exclusive mini Get-Together idea being tossed around. Will this be that or is it open to everyone?

    I like the idea of the Ice-type Wi-Fi tourney. ^^

    I suppose as far as events go we could always do the classic IRC Pokémon quiz with a Christmas theme?

    Or how about we have a competition to write the best Pokémon version of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'. Kinda like "On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me: a Pidgey in a pear tree." :P Just a bit of fun. And maybe the winner gets to have their carol sung by everyone (who wants to) - the members record it and we put it together. I wouldn't mind running that if this thing goes ahead, and we need judges.
     
    I'm against this being a supporter exclusive event. At least one that's timed, anyway. This will likely be timed and stripped to only a few days, then it'll be over.
