Clever Nicknames

    I just want to hear about some people's clever nick name ideas for several pokemon

    here are some of mine

    sceptile - godzilla
    camerupt - krakatoa
    metagross - einstein
    starmie - rock star
    mightyena - white fang
    crobat - dracula
     
    Here are some of mine but they aren't that clever o.o

    Lugia - XD001
    Noctowl - Michael
    Flygon - Rui
     
    Starmie-Rising Star
    Forretress-Mighty Castle
    Jolteon-Thunder Blast

    I love these ones :P

    sharpedo - jaws
    salamence - horntail
    gardevoir - bride's maid
    wiscash - whiskers
     
    I usually name my Pokemon after characters ^^; So the names are really strange.

    However, I think my favorite is:
    Treeko/Grovyle/Secptile: Geckomon XDDD

    dusclops - king tut
    raichu - jerry
    delcatty - tom
    tyrannitar - rex
     
    Sceptile: Forres(t Gump)

    I used to regret naming him "Forres", but yeah, Mr. Gump was a good man, so thats all it counts XD
    (and it's obvious I say "Run Forrest Run!" when I fight using him).
     
    Some of the nicknames I've used:
    Scizor- Steelbug
    Charizard- Kamui
    Ampharos- Denryu (not really a nickname I guess)
    yellow version Pikachu- Bluechu or Mairu
    (both were the names of the supposed blue pikachu--which I think turned out to be Marill, right?)
    Ho-oh- Hohou

    I used a lot of Japanese words in my one game to help me remember vocab:
    Diglett- Horu (to dig)
    Snorlax- Yasumu (to rest)
    Snorlax- Neru (to sleep)
    Butterfree- Kirei (pretty, clean)
    Jigglypuff- Uta (a song)
    and etc.
     
    Here's just a few select:

    Pigeot - Pijotto
    Ivysaur - Fushigiso
    Primeape - Okorizaru
    Scyther - Abscido
    Gyarados - Asperitas
    Rhyhorn - William
    Arcanine - Maxwell

    My nicknames consist of Latin words, the original Japanese names, and other names that I just find appealing. Not really all that clever or demiurgic in my opinion. e_e;

    Psycho
     
    Cubone - Ninja (wears a helmet and a weapon)
    Pikachu - Loser/Bastard/Scum (this pokemon simply sucks!)
    Mewtwo - Freeza (Conection found)
    Dragonite (Female) - Fylia (the female Dragon character from Slayers)
    Jolteon (Female) - No. 18 (the tough blond furred girl dog)
    Celebi - Time lord (self explanation)
    Kadabra/Alakazam - Warlock (has a moustache and knows magic)
    Flareon (Female) - Top model (the most beatifull of the 5 Eevee evolutions)
    Vaporeon (Female) - Mermaid (has a fish tail)

    Swellow(blah)-Wingspan
    Minun-Pikablu
    Sceptile-Vines
    Hariyama-Punch
    Gardevoir-June(i dunno why, I just like that name X/)

    I can't say that any of my Pokemon nicknames are brilliant, but they are original!

    Charmeleon - Tyr, which is the name of some Norse god...
    Pikachu - Laurel, the name of a church group...and it just stuck! ^^;
    Rattata - Bryan, which is normally the name of my Bagon...o_o
    Kadabra - Kitsune, because Abra looks like some sort of fox!
    Pidgeotto - Tara, just because. They seem to pick their own names...o_0
    Mankey - I named him Bruno and couldn't figure out why until I remember the Elite Four...Whoops! ^^;

    Then I have a Meowth named Celeste, another Pidgey named Hawkes, and my Skarmory Triplets on Ruby: Angelus, Kira, and...darn, the last one started with a 'T'...Eh, I'll remember it eventually!
