i think this is in the right place tell me if it isnt

i was wondering would it be considered cheating if u clone a shiny tyrouge or shiny eevee to get all evalutions?

Well it depends on what you mean... If it's just for your own pleasure, I see no harm in it. For trades, it depends on if the recipient accept clones or not. If you're doing it for a shiny club you're in, then it isn't allowed since you only caught a shiny Eevee and not 7 you know. Btw, cloning alone just depends on the person since some support it since they're all legit and some don't support it since it ruins the value/rarity of a shiny blah blah use your own judgement. It's just a video game honestly lyk who cares. 8D

In my book, doing anything that was not originally meant for by the game developers is cheating. That would include Cloning. Then again other people have lower standards than I have.

true. anything not intended by original game programmers is considered cheating(although i like to think of it like modifying).

Still, it's up to each person, unless you are going to trade them. That would make it unfair. But, hey, I think there's no "cheating" with trading.

Modifying and Cheating are basically the same thing but worded differently IMO, there is always people who are going to exploit the glitches for personal gain and its the game developers fault for not noticing, we already have a billion threads on this argument already, why cant people just accept the way things our, theres absolutely nothing we can do it about it, to stop it.

I see your point, Shiny Umbreon (and those who agree with you), but there are varying degrees of cheating. Glitches, which you say are 'teh ebilz' (paraphrasing) are not l33t hackings such as AR or Pokesav. They're accidental bugs devs overlooked. I.e., "They'll never try to Surf in the elite 4, we don't need to check that". Hacking is using an outside source to manipulate the game and is, IMO, teh ebilz.

This thread is getting offtopic and you can't expect to get an answer because we would be debating a lot. There have been other threads about cheating, already (yeah, cloning is cheating) so I guess this is better left to your own choice.
