offline FULL NAME: Raymond Hughes DATE OF BIRTH: 5/12/ 2008 GENDER: Male CITY & COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE: San Francisco, California; USA APPEARANCE: Raymond stands at a height of 5'8, bringing with that height a weight of 164lbs and categorizing him as a slightly above average college freshman. He sports a lean yet muscular skinned build having run track for all four years of highschool, and still follows most of his usual training exercises and eating habits, even though he no longer does track. His wardrobe is mostly geared towards the darker colors and is built up mostly of long sleeved shirts and most types of pants. He will change his type of shirt depending on the weather. online USERNAME: ShinobiOnigiri CURRENT LEVEL: 353 GUILD: None ACCOLADES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
Antisocial: You've played the game past level 350 and still have zero people on your friends list! Way to go!....? Escape Artist: Successfully escape pursuit over 400 times.
(To be added) DAEMON APPEARANCE: As his name states, Ray's avatar is dressed as a ninja, his default clothing being a black shozuku covering up just about all of his body up to his neck. On his neck he wears a rather long black scarf that covers his nose and mouth, leaving the top of his head exposed revealing his white unkempt and spiky hair and crimson irises.. Although he considers that scarf of his to be quite fashionable and cool, it has caused several problems while playing including tripping, snagging, smacking himself and so on, but "It's definitely worth it." On his feet he wears a pair of jika-tabi which are basically just black boots that allow for better grip and maneuverability. His hands are covered by a pair of black gloves with a guard forged from the highest quality light metal available to those around his level covering the posterior of his hand. On the sleeves of his shozuku from the hand upwards are a series of rectangular guards made of the same metal.
Though he has collected a multitude of different outfits for use, he usually defaults to this one. His primary weapon would be a bo staff that is usually visible on his back unless he is hiding it in his inventory, but he also keeps a variety of other ninja like weapons such as shurikens, tanto, darts, etc. other ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Spoiler:
"Achoo!...ugh..."
Raymond winced as the unexpected sneeze broke the silence around him and caused his head to jerk forward with its intensity. Scrunching up his face at the weird, unpleasant feeling that followed most of his sneezes, he rubbed at his nose with the sleeve of his track jacket and swore under his breath. Taking his arm away from his mouth, he looked up and watched as the sun continued its descent, now content to let the world be shaded in the darkness that naturally covered it. Reaching down, he pulled the grey towel from his gym bag and wiped at the sweat covering his face. Lowering it so that his eyes could survey the rest of the track he could see that it was mostly barren, save for a few solo runners that were already making their way off of the field, some still panting from their previous activity.
He liked best to come only a few hours before sunset because it was then that the fewest amount of people were there, the breeze was coolest, and of course the gorgeous sunset was only just beginning. Though he no longer ran track since graduation, his track workout had become a regular thing to do, among others, and it kept him in shape, however.
"I should probably get back before my roommate throws a fit…"
Really it was more like so that he could have someone to throw a fit at. He wasn't always the neatest when it came to maintaining his personal space, and of course it was just his luck to get the OCD roommate. Caleb, his roommate, was a pretty tolerable person so long as you didn't mess with his stuff or leave your own area in disarray. He let out a deep sigh and placed the damp towel back into his bag, zipping it back up and hoisting it up over his shoulder and beginning his walk to the bus stop. Turning the corner, he saw the bus pulling up to the curb… two blocks away.
"Oh hell no."
He bent his knees and broke off into a sprint, growling in annoyance as the bag he carried chafed at his bare shoulder. The next bus wouldn't' be coming for another thirty minutes, so there was no way in hell he was missing this one.
"HEY YO!, HEY!!!" He yelled at the bus that had begun pulling off, praying the driver would hear him. The bus started forward for an agonizing moment, but soon slowed to a stop a few feet away, the doors opening to let him in. He silently thanked God for answering for once and hopped up the steps as the doors slid shut behind him. Flashing his college ID that acted as a transpass for students he wasted no time finding a seat in the front of the bus and dropped, bringing his bag up to rest on the seat next to him to discourage anyone who might attempt to sit there. He leaned his head back against the glass and closed his eyes; not sleeping of course, he knew better than to try and do that on the bus.
His thoughts drifted to CLOUD, a game he played whenever he wasn't in school or down at the track. He had been hooked on that thing ever since he was allowed to play games, and it had followed him throughout his life, being the perfect place to go relax, explore, and do just about whatever you wanted to do, whenever you wanted to do it. Words really didn't do this game justice… it was something that had to be experienced with your own senses.
???:"...Yeah! Three of them, Haha! And it was just me and Ralor!"
???2:"Did you guys win though?"
???:"What? Of course we did dude. Daemonhead only has numbers; just a bunch of noobs, they can't touch The Senate!"
The last stop had let in some fellow CLOUDers, it seemed. he term fellow was used lightly in this sense, seeing as Ray had aboooout… zero people on his friendslist. No real particular reason, but he just never really stopped to talk to people or join a guild; they were just distractions that filled up chats.
???2:"...yeah but did you hear about that event going on early tomorrow?"
???:"Huh? What are you talking about dude?"
An event? What event? It was rare for Ray to be clueless, especially with the kind of work he sometimes took part in while playing. Then again he had been paying less attention to the game, what with college and living on his own to deal with.
???2:"Yeah there's supposed to be some kind of announcement slash event thingy going on at like… what, twelve AM I think?"
???:"You think it has something to do with that new update everyone's been talking about?"
???2:"Definitely, that's way too sudden to be a coincidence, and they don't make a habit of lying to us or even joking really."
Well, at least now he knew what he was doing tonight in addition to…
"Ah sh*t
He had almost forgotten about his roommate, and the verbal fire that was about to be used in an attempt at arson. Ray winced as the bus stopped and the robotic voice announced the address of his stop. He stood up and grabbed his bag, heading for the front of the bus sullenly. At least he had something to look forward to...
MISCELLANEOUS: Raymond has little experience with conversations, so they usually die out quickly unless the other person if very persistent. Ray also possesses a variety of different ninja suites to wear designed to fit certain terrains, weather, and events. He sometimes works as his cosplay shows and gathers information for people, for the right price. He also might be known for his ability to escape pursuit.
in the meantime I'm currently making some NPCs for interaction. if you wanna interact amongst yourselves, use the jp the final watchman posted as an example of what to do.
as for the class kit drops, I've been using final fantasy tactics a2 classes
I dunno if I'd a say successor, but it's certainly in the same vein (and it's spiritual prequel was an FF spin-off that was a tribute to the original game...though I guess in that sense it is something of a spiritual successor XD). Though, there are some differences between the Ivalice games (FFXII and FFTactics) from the traditional FF games.
...Which is why I'd imagine that it doesn't matter too much. Can't speak for Skymin, but I think that, because there is no set class system, as long as we don't go making up crazy classes it should be fine.

I can speak for Skymin and confirm that the FF Tactics A2 job list Naku linked (I've quoted it here too for convenience) is in fact the class list for CLOUD. I was talking about this with her last night, the starter kits are the most basic of the jobs as you'll be able to upgrade to differing classes later in the RP.
The four guilds within the first post (Daemonhead, Cloud Nine, The Senate and Cushions) are the four biggest guilds within CLOUD that Skymin created. You can be a part of any of these guilds.
On the other hand, some RPers have adopted their own guilds so you could message them about joining their guilds. Otherwise you could create your own guild that your character runs or is a part of.

ive been using the final fantasy tactics a2 class list just because the jobs are usually diverse and gives you a wide range to choose from. after this though, classes are kind of just made. so say if you have a sword and a magic trinket, you might be a magic knight. or maybe it just doesnt have a name, you can make it up or just have a random class haha
same about guilds. theyre not necessary, but they provide an easy source of two people knowing eachother. plus its fun to make things up <3
edit: speaking of which, added your guys' guild to the first page
edit2: speaking of leaders i should also mention that the final watchman is now co-gm! party!!! yay!!! *throws confetti*
edit3: WHO HAS SKYPE HERE??
