Club of the Month

Well since there are Hack of the Month, I think that there should be a Club of the Month too because it will give a club an award like thing and people will know which club is in the spotlight now. Any thoughts on this idea?

I think they used to do it. You should probably just talk to Shining Raichu about it and see what he thinks, but I think he's been a bit busy lately. Or if you were referring to Pokemon Clubs, I know that they used to have it there, so just talk to AlexOzzyCake or Olli97. I don't see why this needs a whole thread really. None of those mods bite. :P

I think there used to be a club of the month if I remember right. Though now I think it's the Featured Club. Though I like that idea. It should be something they should implement or re-implement.

We used to have it up until a few months ago, we stopped it because people simply weren't voting enough and there wasn't enough new clubs around each month to have a big variety amongst the winners. I'm all for bringing it back if people would actually vote, but based on the last few times we ran it there was only 2-4 votes for the whole month (decreasing from 15 or so in the first months!). I'll talk to Olli about it and see if we can work out a way to ensure there's always votes but in the meantime we have a feedback thread here if you want to post any ideas/suggestions for the competition, any thoughts are welcome! :)

I remember this very well, but sadly as Ozzy said it died out due to a lack of votes and not many new clubs were created, resulting in very little diversity among the winners.

I think the Featured Club was basically a better implementation so that it could put a random club of choice by Ozzy and Olli in the spotlight, I didn't really like Club of the Month to begin with.
