Hello, i'm working on a hack called Collamon.

Hack of: Fire Red


Storyline:

A long time ago a terrible virus turned all the Pokemon into Collamon.
The Collamon changed their living places to their needs. The world has changed since then.You must gather information about these Collamon.
All info on your Pokedex is useless because all Pokemon are gone.
A new journey is waiting, full of adventures, though events and new routes.

Well, I'm gonna be harsh, but don't take this the wrong way, ok?
Yuck. Eww. Those are the words that come to mind when I see the tiles and sprites. However, with a little work you could get a lot better at sprites, but you really do have to work at it. The maps look square to me, but it could just be me; I'm no mapper. You seem to have grasped scripting, which could be very good for you in the future. The story... Well, it seems ok, but I'll have to wait for it to develop before I fully comment on that. Good luck with this hack project~

The tiles sorta hurt my eyes... and the sprites need some work. XD

However, I think you can make this hack really good if you improve those two things. The maps themselves look interesting, an the scripts seem well made. So yeah, good luck!!

If you were a little better at shading your fakemon, this would be pretty popular.

That looks a lot better. There are some tile errors in there, but you'll learn how to fix them.

i think tone up the palletes abit..it looks bad..but if you get the hamg of things then it will be great..i will be checking this thread again after you fix them..xD

Is there any interest in the first beta? Or should I first make a video?

I am gonna work on the fakemon. But I think SPURGE is good only the other ones in my banner needs work and the starters right?

I suggest a video first, just to see how it looks, and I find "Do you want to know the secret of 'The Ultimate Warrior'" funnier then heck just to let you know.

I'm not going to lie. The fakemon look like ripped off and devamped real pokemon.
I mean, look at the banner.
All I see is a less professional looking Pidgey, Ekans, and Spearow.
Maybe you should find a better spriter. :\

Okay, yeah. That sounded a little harsh, but really. No one wants to play a game with crappy Pokemon.

Actually, the fakemon have some potential. However, the tiles don't. I would completely change them, or at least the palettes. Too bright and no texture/shading for the grass.

um well the sprites could improve maybe add some shading and some features on the fire starter good luck just have a look at some tutorials on here they really helped me :)
