Welcome to the PokéCommunity Pokémon Trading Card Showcase Thread! Here you can show your card collection to your fellow members of PC and talk about your favorite cards that you own. Whether you just got into the Pokémon TCG or you've been collecting your whole life, feel free to show us what you got!

To get the ball rolling, I'll start with my collection. These cards are my most valuable and if I showed all of my cards, there would be a ridiculous amount of pictures all over this post. So here they are:

Charizard ex has always been my favorite ex card because of its Burn Down attack. It's also extremely valuable, so that adds to its awesomeness. Shiny Kyogre from Call of Legends is another one of my favorites because Kyogre was the first legendary I've ever captured in the games and it's shiny. Reshiram EX is also a favorite because I really love these new giant EX artworks. Last but not least, Wailord ex. Wailord is one of my favorite Pokémon and I remember years ago how bad I wanted this card and how happy I was when I finally got it.

Because these three cards are obnoxiously large, I couldn't resist showing them here. Also, ignore the black dot on Darkrai's artwork... It was a little fuzz ball that I didn't notice until it was too late.

I scrounge up money from paycheck to paycheck.

So I guess I do have money coming in, but it's eaten up almost every week due to bills.

That's a nice little collection! I used to have a ton when I was younger, but one day we were having a community garage sale and I left to go to a friend's house across the street. I came back and they were all gone. My mom said she thought I was too old to have Pokemon cards and someone offered $200 for them. I see posts like this now and it's kind of upsetting.

My cards back then were a lot of duplicates of Gen 1 Pokemon. However, I did have an Arcanine and Charizard Ex that I really loved as well as a few others that I liked. However those EX ones were the only ones that stood out. I used to spread them out all over my room, dividing them by type and standing them up like they were real Pokemon when I was bored. I don't know. It was a good memory!

This is why I don't have any cards. I don't have the money nor the space to keep them. Even if I did have the money they would just stay in a corner forever and ever.

I do have an online collection on PTCGO. It's a lot harder to get cards since you have to keep logging in and playing matches for coins and then you only get five cards per pack but I've gotten some ok stuff!

I just got this pack for beating one of the NPC's a certain amount of times. There's a holo Swadloon but I'm more hyped about the Zubat and Scraggy lol. Scraggy because this one isn't as risky as the one I had before that had Slack Off (?)/Lunge so it's damage was purely based on coin toss. And Zubat because I thought I had a Golbat but I don't... Oh well, more fodder for my Dark/Psychic deck.

I was really happy with this opening since most of the cards were stuff I needed. I had a Makuhita before but not this one, plus Hariyama came in the same pack. Also in this pack were a Team Plasma Bisharp who I can use in my Psychic/Dark deck and Onix, who lands himself a spot in my Fighting/Steel deck.

This pack had a holo Simisear but online holos aren't as fun as rl holos... But still cool.

This pack was courtesy of Dark Leader Adam's code giveaway and it gave me that Druddigon, Aggron, Team Plasma Glailie and a holo Cradily.
