I have been collecting pokemon cards for years and i have about 700 of them and just now i was thinking about playing games with them but i searched through all of them and i found out i had NO colorless energy cards which is bad because almost all of the moves use them. im trying to figure out why out of all the packs i have bought, none of them had any colorless energy cards. Should i maybe just buy a pack of just them on ebay or just try and buy more packs to find some?

You can use any types of energy to pay for a colorless attack cost, so it doesn't hurt as bad as you may think not to have any. For me, the easiest sets to get ahold of colorless energy were the Delta Species sets (Holon Energy). Of course, if you play in tournaments, these won't do you any good as they are likely out of format. If you're wanting a bundle though, I would advise you getting them on eBay. It really isn't that important to have that many colorless energy in your deck, though. About 3-4 seems reasonable, but it's not required.

It doesn't matter how many Colorless Energies you need because you can use any Energy card to fill-in for the Colorless Energy.
