Well if this is a competitive team, mind telling us the Natures/ Ev Spreads?

Oh yeah, sure! Not entirely sure on the EV spreads, as a lot of them were trained before I knew what EVs were, so I'll post the Stats.

Tell me what you think, and maybe make suggestions on what I should change/add/remove from my team.

Oh yeah, sure! Not entirely sure on the EV spreads, as a lot of them were trained before I knew what EVs were, so I'll post the Stats.

Despite what you may think, you're not going to win without properly bred/ trained Pokemon. Maybe against Serebii/ Marriland battlers, but not against a real opponent. Besides, stats are irrelevent- it's the EVs and Natures that matter (at least in the case of posting a team- EVs are simply a way for us to gauge stats at a glance, without having to run complicated calculations to find out how they were trained). By the way, it's hard to know what their stats should be when we don't even know their levels. :/

And before I even get into the team itself, I just need to post a few simple rules of making a good team (taken from the Compiled Guides):

    *Hyperbeam
It sounds strong, looks strong, but is it really? If you said no, have a cookie. When you math it out, you will find out Hyperbeam is one of the most horrible moves out there. First of all, Hyperbeam takes two turns to inflict a 150 Power. So if you divide 150 by 2, that will equal 75 Power. That means Hyperbeam only is inflicting 75 Power Moves each turn! Is that worth it? No. But if that's not enough to change your mind ... Hyperbeam can put your pokemon on the line. It needs a turn to recharge. A dangerous opponent pokemon could easily switch in to set up and sweep while the user with Hyperbeam is trapped on the field. So do not use Hyperbeam or any other form of it (Giga Impact, Hydrocannon, Roar of Time, etc.)

    *Items
Items can be very helpful in tight situations. And it never hurts to attach one to a Pokémon. But make the most of your items and only use the best ones.

Many beginning trainers think that some items are good, and they're really terrible.

Charcoal, Miracle Seed, etc. should not be used. If you built your moveset correctly, an item like Charcoal or Miracle Seed will only be boosting one attack's power. By the way, did I mention the Power Boost was very minimal? It only boosts a move's power by a 10% increase. So if you have a Weavile holding a Sharp Beak, it will raise Aerial Ace's power by 1.1

    60 Base Power x 1.1 Sharp Beak = 66 Base Power

66 Base Power is barely any better than a 60 Power, so it's sort of a waste. Same thing goes for Plates. They boost an attack's Power by 1.2, but that's still barely any difference.

The better items used are more common. Some of the common items used are …

    Life Orb
    Leftovers
    Choice Band
    Choice Scarf
    Choice Specs
    Expert Belt
    Wide Lens
    And many more …

(Adding on to this, are Scope Lens and Zoom Lens are known as 'hax items'- items that make the game over-reliant on luck. As such, they are banned and not allowed for use. Besides, they're bad items anyway- luck isn't something you want to rely on to win).

Also, Natures. When choosing a Nature, choose something that increases a stat that the Poke needs, and lowers a stat the Poke doesn't. Since no Pokemon needs all six stats (not equally, anyway), there's always a good nature for any Pokemon. Don't use neutral natures, they're simply a waste of potential.

Once again, read the Compiled Guides.

Frenzy Plant is like a Grass type Hyper Beam, which is bad. =p You might want to replace it with Leech Seed or Stone Edge.

Forgot to mention that the only pokemon that can afford to use Hyper Beam / Giga Impact is Slaking =D Giga Impact is Uber kill.

    NO NO NO NO !!!

Slaking CANNOT use Giga impact, its uber fail, Traunt does not negate the recharge turn, so they can easiliy revenge kill you, and with lucario, Machamp, heracross etc popularity atm, its even more fail.

Same with Porygon-z, OHKOing Blissey is now a moot as people use Calm Bliss, which survives that same NP, LO, Adaptability Hyper beam, and im sure there are better ways of killing bliss without loosing your sp.sweeper =/.

Also, we need EVS and natures, if we dont get them then im sorry to say there is no point in this thread staying open, so you may want to add them a.s.a.p =p

Seriously rather than using hyper Beam, just get an Exploder. Save yourself time. Either way you lose your sweeper, and you don't get settup on.
