This thread kinda weirdo to talk about competitive stufff ( or not or why not cuz VG talks) but

What's your mind set when u play competitive matches such as in CS:GO or LoL or Dota 2? Do you think expect your team to do well? What kind of criteria you think the ideal teammates should have? Do you think that you have the rights or the time to critic your teammates? When you almost lose flatten, do you think there's a chance to fight back?

my team are usually just people to blame for my own failings

Serious tho, if I'm with my regular buddies on a game we play to win as a team. If that means I'm driving all match whilst theyre fighting then thats what it is. If I'm with randoms I play lone wolf for myself mostly because on Battlefield the random community players are trash usually

Blame the Jungler. If not the jungler, blame ADC IF YOU ARE THE JUNGLER.
    Run it down mid.

I've said a couple of things on what i think about whenever I'm playing multiplayer on anything several topics ago. I always make sure that I play well enough that I don't become a detriment to my team, since honestly 50% of the time I do lose some of my games, its more of me screwing up or choking. And many of the wins I get was simply me performing well.

That's how i reached Masters but I'm still stuck in there. Can't get to challenjour since I don't flame my team hard enough even though i have legit reasons in doing so

My mind set going in is to try to contribute, since I'm not very good at competitive video games on the whole.

Random online Battlefield trash reporting in, hah. Granted, I'm trash because I play once every month or so.

TBH, i been into ranked competitive like for 3 months and I actually can climb to Gold Nova 2.

But, I have to retire from that game since the laptop gave me a bad experience and my desktop just went ded so I pratically cant play anymore. That's when I always go to Cyber Cafe to play

Well, I will never expect the team to be that shiet at 1st, but after climbed to Gold Nova, I starting to feel like the team is performing nearly same as Silver. It might be my thinking, but I always never say anything about my team.

I always just remain silent and stayed focused no matter what, even I got beaten up badly. And the more the enemy tease about our team, I will make sure that I'll never let them go easily.

    Spoiler:

By trash I mean the people who just sit near spawn and snipe all match instead of going for objectives or those who just refuse to drop ammo or health packs no matter how many times you prompt. I'd rather have a guy who goes 1-40 on his k/d but was dropping me ammo and spotting all match and pushing forward than play with a sniper who goes 40-1 but doesnt help cap a single flag. K/D doesn't mean crap in BF, W/L means everything. On BF4 my friend (or sometimes me) used to just ferry us around in the transport chopper so we could dominate as many flags as quickly as possible. My friend Alex is a pretty good player, usually up the top of the tables with me but when we needed a pilot he just done it, and he;d fly for the whole match, no kills, but a load of points for capping, driver assists, squad spawns etc.

    overwatch competitive for me;
team: *yells something about 'playing the meta'*
me: *picks a non-meta character over a meta pick bc we're on defence and trying to hold a point*
team: "why do we have x (my char) on the team ugh pls pick something decent"
team: *pressures me into picking 'meta' char*
    me: *is forced to switch*
the match: *my team loses the point*

    Wow I wonder /why/ that happened. :')

Honestly if anything I'm just sick of seeing tryhards around the place flaunting their numerous golden guns where here I am trying for 3 seasons and have yet to afford 1 gun, let alone several.

I wish I had a group of friends to play comp with regularly. I just fall and fall and fall through the ranks playing with randoms otherwise. Turns me off playing OW completely.
