Hey there, masters of the art of Pokemon battling! I'm pretty new to the scene of competitive battling, but I know quite a bit. I am currently playing on Pokemon Online, using the team below:
Azelf @ Focus Sash
Trait: Levitate
EV's: 40 Att / 216 Spl Att / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Flamethrower
- Explosion
Donphan @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EV's: 252 HP / 252 Att / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Assurance
- Ice Shard
Kingdra @ Leftovers
Trait: Swift swim
EV's: 180 HP / 252Att / 76 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Rain Dance
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Outrage
Erufuun @ Leftovers
Trait: Mischievous Heart
EV's: 252 Def / 252 Spl Def
Impish Nature
- Taunt
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Protect
Aianto @ Focus Sash
Trait: Truant
EV's: 252 Att / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Befriend
- X-Scissor
- Stone Edge
- Toxic
Shandera @ Leftovers
Trait: Shadow Tag
EV's: 252 Spl Att / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Protect
- Calm Mind
- Nitro Charge
Team breakdown: (Why I did what.)
Azelf: As a Lead, Azelf is great, I think. Not to mention he is one of my favorite Pokemon. Send him out, Taunt to prevent the opponent from setting up, either set up Stealth Rock or attack with Flamethrower. (Which is quite useful, I see a lot of annoying Natty and Scizor leads.) Then when his job is over, boom on out of there with Explosion
Donphan: He has Sturdy, which is very useful. He can stop a boosted attacker from destroying me team. Assurance them first turn, if they live on low health or Focus Sash, Ice Shard to finish them off. Rapid spin for removing the annoying entry hazards, and Earthquake for the obvious great attack.
Kingdra: He was always a fav of mine, and a pretty decent sweeper. Not too mention his counters should have been done away with by the time I get him out. (Of course I'm not that great so I really don't know that.) Rain dance for enormous speed, boost when I can with Dragon Dance, then tear through their team with Outrage or Waterfall.
Erufuun: I found out how great this little guy was early on. Mischievous Heart is very, very useful. Taunt is a must, it prevents himself from getting taunted, which would make him be forced to switch out. Leech seed next, then just alternate with Protect and Substitute till they are sucked dry.
Aianto and Shandera: The reason I put these together was, they are a near perfect team. And what I built mine around. (Sort of.) Befriend anything with Aianto, to give them the horrible ability, Truant. This will either force a switch, or set up perfect bait for my Shandera. I switch out to Shandera and trap them with Shadow Tag. That's where Protect comes in, I can stall them all I want, and boost with Calm mind or Nitro Charge every other turn until I have Max Spl Att, Spl Def, And Spd, then sweep with Shadow Ball. The rest of Aianto's movepool is just there as filler.
Please, tell me what you think and/or what I should do instead. Such as Pokemon replacement, or anything at all~
