Competitive Pokemon Team for Soul Silver

.... Why am I having a hard time with this? Why? :/

Hey my fellow Pokemon fans! I am Tony the Dark Prominence and I am here to post my current team and a team that I am trying to get a hold of at the moment. So bear with me... Feast your eyes on these!

- Zubat
LV: 19, Nature: Hasty
Wing Attack, Bite, Supersonic, Leech Life
- Quilava
LV: 20, Nature: Docile
Fire Blast, Ember, Smokescreen, Headbutt
- Scyther
LV: 21, Nature: Bashful
Leer, False Swipe, Pursuit, U-turn
- Kadabra
LV: 21, Nature: Naive
Teleport, Headbutt, Confusion

These are my current Pokemon (NOTE: Quilava, Kadabra and Zubat emerged from breeding.)

Now take a look at the team that I am planning for:

Typhlosion
Crobat
Scizor
Alakazam
(Insert Electric/Dark/Rock/Ground type Pokemon)
(Insert Water/Ice type Pokemon.)

Question 1: I am going to get my third gym badge now, so what would be a good choice for catching pokemon?

Question 2: Can have atleast a good idea of what moves Typhlosion, Crobat, Scizor and Alakazam could have when they are evolved and prepared for competitive gameplay?

And yes, I am aware of the EV's system which is why I breeding three of my pokemon in the first place. Try not to mention anything about legendary pokemon either.
