This is my first RMT thread, and the first team I've tried to put some thought into. I'm somewhat proud of what I've come up with, but I am unsure at the same time. Thus, I'm making this thread. The team is mostly composed of sweepers, although I threw in a couple walls for a bit of balance. I wanted to get a Baton Passer, but there wasn't room in my eyes. Again, that's why I'm making this thread--for suggestions. Let's get on with it, then.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Competitive Team of Favorites

    Gliscor@Leftovers
    EVs: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def
    Impish Nature
    Ability: Hyper Cutter
    -Earthquake
    -Aerial Ace
    -Roost
    -Stealth Rock

I had in mind a few things here. Number one; to lead and set up Stealth Rock. Two; to act as a physical wall. And three; to maintain the ability to do a bit of damage. I can't think of anything else to say.

    Slowking@Choice Specs
    EVs: 212 HP / 252 SpAtk / 44 SpDef
    Modest Nature
    Ability: Own Tempo
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Psychic
    -Grass Knot

Slowking was the third addition to the overall team. As I went through the game with Infernape and Luxray, I realized (thanks to a Whiscash in the Pastoria gym) that I had a very apparent Ground weakness. Especially Ground/Water-types. So, I decided to get this thing for Grass Knot. I also like the bulky aspect of Slowking that couples with his nice SpAtk.

    Infernape@Choice Band
    EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    -Flare Blitz
    -Close Combat
    -Thunderpunch
    -Stone Edge

I used one of these things at the Battle Factory, loved it, and decided I needed one. The goal is killing things.

    Crobat@Black Sludge
    EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    -Cross Poison
    -Brave Bird
    -U-turn
    -Hypnosis

Ah, Crobat. He has grown on me greatly recently. His Speed is outrageous, so I can use him to swiftly induce sleep and get out with U-turn, or stay and attack.

    Luxray@Life Orb
    EVs: 120 Atk / 252 SpAtk / 136 Spd
    Rash Nature
    Ability: Intimidate
    -Ice Fang
    -Fire Fang
    -Crunch
    -Thunderbolt

I loved using a Luxray through the game, but I don't know about him in competitive play. I preferred a strong Thunderbolt even though his Attack is naturally great. I'm open to complete replacements here, and will consider whatever is proposed.

    Snorlax@Leftovers
    EVs: 160 HP / 40 Atk / 56 Def / 252 SpDef
    Careful Nature
    Ability: Thick Fat
    -Rest
    -Sleep Talk
    -Earthquake
    -Body Slam

I figured I needed a special wall, and I like Snorlax, so he took the place. The idea is to stay alive while doing some damage. I originally had an Umbreon taking his place, but I had a number of doubts about it.

Well, that's about it. Keep in mind I am entirely new to this whole competitive thing; in the past I would just try to catch a lot of Pokemon and battle a friend on occasion. EVs, walls, sweepers, and such are a whole new concept to me that I'm trying to grasp onto. Since I am a newbie, going light on me in the case of any glaring mistakes or weaknesses would be appreciated. But do what you will and I'll just try to improve upon feedback. I need to go workout, so I'll just hit the submit button.

252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe @ Jolly please on Gliscor to avoid being mashed by Ice Punch Lucario.

Lead with Crobat since its a better lead than Glis since it actually does something, but change its set.

    Crobat@Leftovers
    Jolly Nature
    104 HP / 152 ATT / 252 SPEED
    - Taunt
    - Roost
    - U-Turn
    - Brave Bird

    OR

    Crobat@Leftovers
    Jolly Nature
    104 HP / 152 ATT / 252 SPEED
    - Hypnosis
    - Taunt
    - U-Turn
    - Aerial Ace

Hypnosis is illegal with Brave Bird so you have to choose.

You have a dragon dance anything weakness, slap a scarf on Ape so you can revenge kill them.

Luxray should have SuperPower >>Crunch, so you dont lose to stuff like Tar, Bliss can hit Heatran on the switch etc.

Your team actually is offensive, so i wouldnt bother rest talk lax because : -

    A. Good offensive teams dont have time for rest talk.
    B. Its set up fodder.
    C. Rest talkers hardly ever work anymore.

That and your team doesnt care about status really.

    Snorlax@Leftovers / Choice Band
    252 ATT / 252 SP.DEF / 6 DEF
    Adamant Nature
    Trait : Thick Fat
    - Body Slam
    - Earthquake / SuperPower
    - Fire Punch / Selfdestruct
    - Selfdestruct / Crunch

Offensive/CB lax is its best set imo.

Trick >> Psychic on Slowking. Its already Pursuit bait.

All right. Thanks for all that. I'll start on those changes later today.

Although Manectric's attack isn't fantastic, I do use a set that is similar to this Luxray set, it is:
    Manectric @ LO
    EV: 136 spd / 252 sp atk/ 120 atk
    Mild Nature
    ~Thunderbolt
    ~Flamethrower
    ~Ice Fang
    ~Thunder Wave/Crunch
