Female trainer AND male trainer clothes are ugly. Both need a new wardrobe and whoever has been designing the trainers theses past few Pokemon needs to be fired.

To agree with Psyburn, I too hope they do not bring back honey trees.

Other than that, no big complaints as I honestly never played Gold or Silver. Though, like I did notice, I hope they do change the names when they hit American shores. Such horrible names. I'm half Japanese, but damn guys, stop coming up with lame names!

YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE ORIGINALS.

And Ken Sugimori has done all the character designing since R/B/Y so have fun firing him, he's Tajiri's BFF.

I don't think his designs are bad, but he's just gotten a little over-the-top since R/S/E.

Who created that rule? That's retarded, so I'm not allowed to criticize The Day the Earth Stood Still because I never saw the original 1951 film?
What kind of broken logic is that?



On topic now, I'm, like many others, displeased with the new female lead. Crystal is one of the only two Pokégirls I actually like, along with Green/Blue, and her being replaced makes me kind of sad. But right now I'm assuming Crystal will appear as Elm's new assistant, like others have theorized, and that makes me feel a little better.

I... So far, I'm not too fond of the music. Yes, that short 20-second total clip from PokéSunday. I don't like how they've slowed down the melody, and I've never been a fan of the instruments used in D/P/Pt. They also removed the original's cool bass. I'm growing on it though, eventually I probably won't mind it. =|

I'm going to join the club here and complain about the new female character. She looks uber-weirdificated, and I was looking forward to playing as Kris. Marina was one of my favourite anime characters, plus I never got to play the original GSC.

I also do not want a blasted Chikorita or whatever following me around like a bad smell. If I release it and own with my Hoothoot, will the little bugger go away, do you think?

And, um...damn, there was one more...yeah, no more Honey trees...um...bring Kris back...wait, said that already. Oh yeah! Let it be heard here and now that I predict that Nintendo WILL make a third game in this series, and it will be called Pokemon MindCrystal.

That's just my theory, and I'm saying it now so I can lol later if they actually do, which they probably won't.

You never even played the original G/S/C and you too are already bashing the new girl.
Everyone's so quick to their opinions, can't even give the poor girl a chance!


This is like a bad high school movie(not that there are any good ones to begin with). Kris just moved away and the new girl is the girl that everyone is ratting on just because she's new.
 
I don't have a complaint with the games. I do have a complaint though with the fandom. Seriously. Its just a new character.
 
I want Crystal back. The new girl looks like she's keeping a Blastoise in her hat! I have no complaints, cos the male character was the best looking hero IMO. Gold FTW! :D

The only problem I have is that America and Europe has to wait until 2010 and it's only May.

The only complain they're gonna get from me is - "Why not make a Crystal Remake, too?"

I want Crystal/Kris/Marina back! although im sure the new girl wont be that bad... she looks a bit odd though..

and what have they done! theyve have taken the shrine from Solaceon (if I am correct) and used it as the Ilex forest shrine.... NO!!! the ilex forest shrine was made from wood and it should stay that way!

and the new tiles look exactly like the disgusting D/P/P ones :( eeew!

Actully what i dont like about the gane is Chikorita's OW sprite(It looks like a Gulpin) But i can get used to it.

and as for your coment about kris:
she's a classic she's what made Crystal,Crystal! The first boy/girl choice which brightened up the johto saga, and what has nintendo done? locked her in a closet!
 
I think they should make a Crystal remake, too, just to make everyone who dislikes the new girl happy. Everyone, get out your pens and write to Nintendo, and ask for a Crystal remake, because that's what you truly desire. Also tell them what you want and don't want and see if they do that. (<Note: Being sarcastic here.)

I have no complaints. Pokemon is Pokemon. :)
(Not being sarcastic about the complaints. I have no complaints. They remade Johto. I'm satisfied.)
