Which one would you recommend for the Battle Tower? I'm leaning towards Altaria.

Hm, I'm not sure myself. It looks like Salamence is good for attacking, while Altaria is good at defenses:

Salamence
HP - 306
Att - 281
Def - 188
SpA - 231
SpD - 153
Spd - 211

Altaria
HP - 287
Att - 190
Def - 207
SpA - 172
SpD - 221
Spd - 224

I really can't decide which will be good at the Battle Tower, but Altaria is good.
