Aww thnx, word of advice tho.. Please don't use BMP's. BMP's are the worst and the file size is crazy. See that award.. you could make that 1kb and still keeps it quality if you wanted.

JPG files are compressed by decreasing clarity, GIFs lose colour quality, and PNGs don't really lose anything. They can be a bit bigger than a GIF or JPG at high resolutions, though. For a file that small, you should go with a PNG.

LOL, this is just a trainer's card thing, so it's basically classified as a sprite edit. Depending on which image editor you are using, you can use GIF or PNG and it will look exactly the same - just use an adaptive palette, since it won't be 256 colours anyway.
