Conspiracy Theories

From the Great Pokemon War, to Gary's Raticate, to Clefable/Gengar duologies, there are many conspiracy theories regarding the Pokemon World and it's inhabitants.
While the majority of these seem to focus on Gen I (my examples included), there are many different opinions on happenstances within every generation that get people thinking.
Are there any theories that you've thought up or have seen before? Which ones are your favorites?

One of the coolest ones I know of is that the Pokemon games are actually in reverse order, with more and more Pokemon going extinct in each game. But this is easily disproved by people like Giovanni from Red and Blue to Gold and Silver. Another good one, is that Cubone was supposed to be a split evolution to Kangaskhan, with the baby Kangaskhan wearing the skull of it's mother.

But that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY.

There's a theory that Haunter possed a pokeballl that would turn a regular pokeball to a voltorb.

The thing about the Raticate theory is that Blue is known for training many different Pokemon in order to make them all strong and even ditching some which aren't strong enough, which may explain why he no longer had his Raticate.

My favourite theory is that N Is really a Zoroark, it has a surprising amount of evidence to support it and with Zorua being my favourite Pokemon I really like this theory.

I wonder if anyone has heard the theory of whether or not Gastly is a dead Cloyster or something to that effect.

I mean... Cloyster's core does look eerily similar to Gastly! :o

I doubt it'll leave the ocean when it dies, I sure as heck wouldn't leave my favourite place.
I've always been into Gen 3 theories since I got Sapphire as a child and I would watch those scam videos about the closed door in Mossdeep or the White Rock. Ditto being a failed Mew clone makes a lot of sense to me as well.
