Contests would be better if they were like in the anime

    Don't you wish they were more like they are in the anime?? It'd be way better.

    Maybe not the part where they're everywhere (although that's good), but the part where they have fights etc.
     
    Yeah, I think I would do more contests then, if there are battles...

    I wish they did have the battles with the points and all. Also I don't like how the Sinnoh contest is only in one place. I wish it was more like with the Anime how they don't have the different catagories as such but instead all contestants participate at once.
     
    That's a good point. I hated it in Emerald only being in Lilycove, but at least in Emerald you could check Contest moves right from the start, whereas in D/P/Pt you have to go to the contest hall first
     
    yeah, game contests suck. dancing and all that rubbish.
     
    Dancing'd be ok if they had better animations for it, and you used x,y,a,b to control your pokemons hands/paws/feet.
     
    I'm a realistic person.... I don't expect that kind of complexity in a pokemon game, however I never liked the way the contest was set up. I like the idea, but the way it's applied currently isn't working for me. Also I think it should be more involving with the plot. That'll get more people into to it.
     
    Yeah. Rather than just you have to go into the contest hall to be able to get out of Hearthome in D/P/Pt, and it makes it easier in the safari zone in 3rd gen (pokeblocks), it hould be put into the plot more
     
    What are contests like in the anime?
     
    Well, there's lotsa people, and in the first round, they individually show off a pokemon.
    In the second round they have battles, but you get points for your pokemon looking good while making the other pokemon look bad.

    And you can use different pokes for each round.
     
    They should be all around the region, and be on at different times, and have a round 2 with battles, and there should be more than 4 contestants!
     
    It would be a bit hard to make it be like the anime style's, due to the fact of their points are affected about how well/beautifully they dodged, and everything. And you wouldn't have the whole Tough/Cool/Beauty/Smart/Cute idea, which I personally like.

    I did wish that the Contests in D/P/Pl were more like the R/S/E contests. :| I liked the R/S/E contests. However, I don't like the D/P/Pl contests due to the whole dressing up and dancing crap. =o=;
     
    I wish it were like the anime, because I'm tired of getting Jammed in RSE and in DPPt just the hearts it annoys me a lot
