Continuing My First Competitive Team

[The Wave]

Yeah, I sort of forgot my old thread, but I want to continue this and get my team done. This is my current team:

Try to lay down a Stealth Rock as fast as possible at the start of the match. Recover to heal herself. Reflect to lower Physical attacks and Grass Knot to attack.

~ Hidden Power Ground

~ Roar
Roar is to support the Stealth Rock of Celebi and thus damage the opponent little by little. Will-O-Wisp is to give the Burn Status to the opponent and damage them a little over time. Flamethrower is the main attack to use, Hidden Power Ground is for certain pokemons like Ground-Type pokemons.

~ Sleep Talk
Surf and Ice Beam to attack the opponent. Rest to heal, and then use Sleep Talk while she's asleep. When she wake up continue attacking, or use Rest again if needed.

I would put something like Specs Lucario >> Espeon, this helps your Tyranitar weakness too as nothing on this team can deal with DDTar or take CB Crunches and Stone Edge, specs Luke will let you nab it with Vacuum Wave. Which also gives you a priority move, something you lack currently.

First Dragon Dance to boost Salamance's attack and speed. Outrage is used to bring down most pokemon, Earthquake is for steel pokemon. Though Fire Blast is good for steel pokemon that Earthquake can't handle, Stone Edge is a good move for against pokemon like Gyarados, so I'm stuck with deciding one the two.

Last thing I remember from the previous thread was that it was suggested to replace Electivire with a DDmence. I've already replaced the Electivire with a DDmence.

So anything that needs to be changed?

From some battles I've been doing against others on Shoddy with my new team, I've noticed that lucario with HP Ice is a huge threat to most teams. I guess you can understand I'm saying that you should use it. Also, Steadfast isn't quiet as good as Inner Focus because you flinch and despite the Speed bosst, it might change the whole nature of the game. It might set the opponent up to sweep you if they can get rid of Lucario. Dark Pulse also isn't a bad option instead of Shadow Ball, but they're both pretty much even. One reduces SpDef (which helps your Sp.Attacker, who happens to be a Spec'd up Luke, who doesn't need to be brought in due to him already being there) and the other causes flinching which can turn the battle from the grasps of one trainers outstretched hands towards the opposing trainer (you, or the opponent, depending on whose pokemon flinches).

Naive is probably your best bet on DDMence. If you're not using Fire Blast, you might as well have another nature though, so use Fire Blast.

Two things. Firstly, SpD is used to denote Special Defence EVs, so I hope you mean Speed with Salamence and Lucario. Celebi is likely to be Taunted as a lead, and it really shouldn't be in that slot. It has to deal with U-Turn scouters and TTar, among other things.

Oh and Milotic is pretty bad in OU when you've got Suicune that can do it better.

Ok, so HP Ice, Inner focus as ability on Lucario. I think Shadow Ball suits me better because of the possibility of Flinch.

and I though I was hallucinating. I remember that Dark_Azelf is female, but when I went to my old thread to get the team, first thing I noticed was that Dark_Azelf noted in her profile that she's MALE. I really got confused there. oh well.

yes I DO mean Speed with SpD. I note Special Defence as SpDef, just look at Blissey where I noted that.

anyway, then what should be my lead?

I was planning Suicune in the first place, but the thing is, I simply can't get my hands on a Suicune with the right nature and decent IV's. that's the whole reason I replaced Suicune with Milotic.
