-Exeggutor (if you DID NOT start with Bulbasaur)
-Arcanine (if you DID NOT start with Charmander)
-Gyarados (if you DID NOT start with Squirtle)
-Starter

Team for Yellow:
-Sandslash
-Alakazam
-Exeggutor
-Cloyster
-Ninetails
-Pikachu

Team for Gold/Silver/Crystal
-Sneasel
-Magneton
-Crobat
-Alakazam
-Gengar
-Starter

I'm pretty sure Sneasel was only obtainable at Mt Silver so how are you going to get it, without trade and cheats

Sneasel is in Ice Cave before Blackthorn

I'd say using Gameshark to get a Sneasel would be a "legit" cheat as long none of it's stats or moves are tweaked with.

Just get another gameboy and trade a low-levelled one over.

Shouldn't you have Jolteon/Vaporeon/Flareon in place of Pikachu for Yellow?

His Eevee will have evolved into Jolteon, Flareon or Vaporeon (Vaporeon if you lost the first battle against him, Flareon if you won the first battle but lost or skipped the battle in Viridian City, and Jolteon if you won both battles)

You could get an Eeveelution or you could keep Pikachu just for the sake that it's Yellow Version.

I'd get the Eevelution good against his.
