    Corey's adventure

(Varahno is a made up Pokémon region. Any resemblance is completely accidental and coincidental.)
thirteen year old Corey Hora and his friend Brigette are about to start their own Pokémon journey. Their families started a tradition in which they leave on their journey when they're thirteen after Alma went out with Aura, her mom's Lucario, and caught an Eevee when she was nine. She named it Vee-ee. Today Corey and Brigette will choose one of 5 Pokémon that Alma caught for them. They both were born in Anistar city but moved to Ritchann city because they're families were really close
"What do you think Alma caught for us?" asked Brigette.
"Definitely an Eevee if I know Alma. Don't choose it. She'll probably give us one later on."
"I'm so glad we moved in to Ritchann city from Anistar city. I love this new region. There's any kind of climate and terrain you would ever want. The variety is great."
"I'm agree, but we'd better hurry. I'll bet I can get home faster."
They race off to Corey's house.
"Hi guys. I caught five as you know. Here they are."
Alma dropped five poke balls on the ground.
"Vulpix, Eevee, Trapinch, Espurr and Inkay are your choices. Corey will choose first 'cause he's my brother."
"Out of all of them, I like Inkay the best. It evolves into Malamar, and Malamar's one of my favorites."
    Corey took Inkay from Alma.
"I'll take Vulpix. It's by far the cutest and I like dogs," said Brigette.
"Well, now that you oh wait hold on."
    Alma's phone was ringing.
"Yeah. Okay. Sorry guys but I have to go to my meeting. I hate my boss but I love being an elite four. Go to route 301 and catch something. I need to go. Bye mom bye dad."
"I can't believe Corey and his friend is going on a journey," said Corey's mom.
"Mom, we made an agreement. Bye you guys. Brigette's going to say bye to her parents too. I'll catch something and send it here so you'll remember me. Bye mom, bye dad."
Corey and his parents hugged as Brigette said bye to them.
Five minutes later, Corey and Brigette were at the entrance of route 301.
    "WAAAAAAAIIIIIIIITTTTT!!!!!!"
A professor was running towards them. Brigette swiftly flung her foot into his shin in self-defense.
    "Ow!"
"Sorry. If you saw someone running towards you, are you going to defend yourself?" asked Brigette.
"Sorry but I didn't want another to run off before I could give them a Pokedex," explained the professor.
    "We'll help you," replied Corey
"That's great. Thanks" answered the professor. "I'm professor Cypress. If you want I can teach you how to ca-"
    "NO" replied Brigette.
"Okay. Well, you go and catch lots and lots of them. Will you please?" asked professor Cypress.
    "We will. Bye." responded Corey.
"Well Corey, this is where our adventure starts, and I can't wait."
    TO BE CONTINUED…
Sorry if this is kind of bland, but it's just the beginning.

I looked around for a little while and didn't see this already, so I think you're fine.

"Which do you think Alma caught for us?" asked Brigette.
I think you want to say "What do you think..." or "Which pokemon do you think..." because it doesn't sound right with just "which" there.

"Hi guys. I caught 5 as you know. Here they are."
All numbers less than 99 get to be spelled out. A little more tedious, but it helps with making the story look a little nicer.

"Mom, we made an agreement. Bye you guys. Brigette's going to say bye to her parents too. I'll catch something and send it here so you'll remember me. Bye mom, bye dad."
I'm not exactly sure who's talking here. A little more description here would be nice.

"Sorry. If you saw someone running towards you, are you going to defend yourself?"
Once again, I'm not sure who's talking here.

Okay, I think the thing you need to work on the most is description. There's practically nothing here regarding description. The one that would be the simplest to fix would be the description of dialogue. Since I learn best by example, I'm going to show you what I mean.

This section of dialogue would become this:
"Which do you think Alma caught for us?" Bridgette wondered, turning towards Corey.

"Definitely an Eevee if I know Alma. Don't choose it. She'll probably give us one later on." Corey pointed out.

"I'm so glad we moved in to Ritchann city from Anistar city. I love this new region." Bridgette mentioned, gazing around at the scenery around her.

"I'm glad too. But we'd better hurry. I'll bet I can get home faster." Corey said, turning and starting running down a path towards a row of houses.
Here we know exactly which characters are speaking when. The added description helps set the scene and gives the characters a sense of depth. I'm not the best at description, but I'll try to help you with showing v telling.

Showing v telling is one of the hardest things about writing. It takes patience and years to master. I'm not the best at it, but I think I can offer some advice when it comes to this. Instead of telling us the characters actions like so:
Brigette kicked him in the shin in self-defense.
Try showing us what the characters did. Something along the lines of this:
Bridgette gasped as she turned around and flung her foot into the culprit's shin.
Try asking questions like who, what, when, where, why, and how. What is the character's body language like? How is the character performing this action? Why is this character performing this action?" Asking questions like that will help set the scene in your head, and with some practice, help convey that scene to the reader.

Right now, I have no idea what the setting around them looks like and I don't really know what any of the characters looks like either.

Another thing I should mention is that you're telling us the entire scene in the very beginning. Not only are you telling us this, but it's a bit of an information dump. Try sprinkling these details throughout the story.

Once you work on showing v telling, the quality of your writing will skyrocket. Right now it reads a little dry. It's an interesting thought having your pokemon caught by your sister instead of the usual professor. It's an interesting start, but it needs some work if it's really going to take off.

Corey has red hair that's short in the back and kind of long in the front. Hiws skin is kind of tan 'cause he's mexican (if the name Alma wasn't a hint) and he wears an orange T-shirt and jeans. He has a gray jacket for when it gets cold. His eyes are green. Brigette has long brown hair that's pulled into a ponytail with 2 long bangs that hang on the side of her head. She has a green T-shirt and gray cargo shorts. She has a red jacket for when it gets cold. Her eyes are brown.

Brigette was the one who kicked him and she was the one who asked how he would've reacted. Notice how there are 2 parents, not one.

This is set during the winter so it's snowing everywhere. Ritchan City is an average sized city that has 2 story houses. There's a pokemon center next to Brigette's house which is in the Northwest part of the city. Corey's house is next to hers.

If I'm talking about levels can I use for example lv. 6? I just want to ask that so I don't get in trouble.

Thanks for your feedback Slayr231. This is chapter 2 of the story (I'm in it yay!) and I hope everyone enjoys it. Feel free to post feedback anyone.

    Chapter 2

Corey and Brigette are two new thirteen year old trainers. This is they're progress. I show it every time I start a new chapter or end one

    Corey
    Team: Inkay/ Mara lv. 5
    Tackle Peck Constict

    Brigette
    Team: Vulpix/Flara lv.5
    Ember Tail Whip

Today Brigette and Corey embark on their journeys, having already chosen Pokémon, they will go to route 301 and catch and train Pokémon.
"Hold on Corey. I've twenty poke balls so I'll give you ten. Don't worry, I didn't pay for those, and my parents wanted me to give half to you."
Brigette handed over ten poke balls to Corey, who thanked her.
"Let's go catch some. If you run out we can stock up on more in the Pokémon center," explained Corey.
"I'm not five, although that one little brat got to go on his journey when he was four. Maybe his parents didn't want to hear him whine all day."
Both of them laugh at that thought.
"Now let's go Corey. I want to catch some Pokémon," said Brigette.
They went through the route 301 gate but were stopped by the gate attendant.
"If you're starting a journey then take these," she said handing them each two poke balls. "Good luck."
"Thanks" they both answered and went to route 301. Brigette saw something in the tall grass.
"Hold on Corey. I'm going to see what's over there. You go check in that part. Tell me if you catch something."
Brigette went in the tall grass and saw a Pancham.
"Corey, I found something, and I'm catching it! Go Flara!" yelled Brigette sending out her Vulpix.
Flara used ember, burning Pancham and bringing it down to medium high yellow. Pancham used leer lowering Flara's defense. Brigette threw a poke ball and caught it while meanwhile Corey ran into a Honedge that looked battered and beaten. With a single poke ball he caught it. Brigette and Corey met afterwards telling each other about what they had caught.
"My Honedge was really battered so I just threw a poke ball and caught it. I wonder why it was so beat up," said Corey, describing the Ghost/Steel type that looked like a sword that unsheathed itself in battle and had 1 blue eye.
"Mine is Pancham. I just love it!" said Brigette describing the small panda that was pure Fighting type with a twig in its mouth.
"Let's train Vulpix and Inkay some more and the others too," she added. "They all need training 'cause we just got them."
Inkay was a small squid that was Dark/Psychic with big eyes and Vulpix was a small red Fire type fox with 6 tails. When they started training they ran into Bunnelby, Zigzagoon, Starly and Fletchling. On the way to the next town, Lykarte town, they needed to take a skylift to the aerial town. The skylift was like a bus because the town was in the air. They saw that a couple of people were wearing dark outfits even though it was a sunny day.
"That's weird," said Brigette and pointed out the outfits.
"That is weird. I wonder why they're wearing that," replied Corey.
Then the tallest made an announcement when the skylift stopped moving were no one could reach them.
"Hand over your items or we'll have to eliminate you. Do not panic, just hand over valuables and you won't ge-"
"NO!" someone shouted as they sent out a Gourgeist, a tall pumpkin that had arm-like hair. It grabbed the tall one as the others reached for their weapons. He whistled as one of the bystanders changed into a Zoroark, a bipedal fox with long red hair, and snatched those weapons away. He sent out a Porygon-Z, a Pokémon with a red body and blue arms and a blue beak like a duck's and levitated them out of a window with Psychic, but suspended them there.
"You should really be more careful about what people you threaten to shoot," then ordered Porygon-Z to levitate them 2 to 3 feet above a police car then fling them on top of it. Everyone cheered as he received tons of thanks. When they went outside Alexa the reporter wanted an interview, as she was on the skylift. Brigette was talking to him, asking who he was and why he'd risk something like that. He had black hair with bangs. He looked about the same age as Brigette, (which she later confirmed). He wore olive colored shorts and a turquoise colored T-shirt. He and Brigette looked very serious
"My name is Sam, and I'm a trainer like you. I'm aiming to be the champion, but I'm also fighting a sinister organization. Have you ever heard of Team Rocket and all the rest? Well they're worse. They don't get Zubats. Instead they get decent Pokémon like Dragalgae and Vespiqueen. Your friend's Honedge was a victim to them. They wanted an Aegislash. They're called Team Nova and they're looking to annihilate anyone who gets in their path."

    To be continued…

    Corey
    Team: Mara lv. 9
    Peck Constrict Tackle Foul Play
    Honedge/ Vendetta lv. 7
    Tackle Swords Dance Fury Cutter
    Pokedex: 14

    Brigette
    Team: Vulpix/Flara lv. 9
    Ember Tail whip Roar
    Pancham lv. 7
    Tackle Leer Arm Thrust
    Pokedex: 14

    Chapter 3

Last time, Corey and Brigette met a skilled trainer named Sam (I do love publicity) who told them about team nova, a sinister organization who's plans were unknown but were ruthless and would destroy anyone that stood in they're way. They were holding on everyone on the skylift captive. Fortunately Sam stopped them and he plans to stop them once and for all.

"Well I have to go. Bye Corey, bye Brigette. I hope you two get to be great trainers. I have to go to a team nova mission," Sam glanced around and whispered, "I'm one of them, but it's to spy only. I'll make sure no one on the skylift tells anyone else that I'm trying to stop them. After this, I should finally know they're plans."
"Bye," answered Corey and Brigette as they headed for route 302. When they got there, a scientist dropped something. Corey picked it up and offered it back to the scientist, who saw his pokedex and told him to keep it.
"It's a cover fossil. I hope it helps fill up you pokedex. Restore it in Lykarte's museum. Bye," answered the scientist.
"How generous of him. Except he forgot to give on to me," complained Brigette. "Well, I guess I'm not the one who gave it to him. Let's train and catch Pokémon."

They separated and Brigette looked around for wild Pokémon and Corey went to the museum. Brigette ran into a wild Furfrou, a poodle Pokémon, and remembered her promise to her parents.
"I'll catch you guys a pet, so you'll remember me when I'm on my journey."
She sent out her Pancham and with a couple tackles, weakened it and threw a poke ball. She caught it and decided to show Corey when he got back. After he got back, Corey registered it in his pokedex.
    "Thanks Brigette," thanked Corey.
"You're welcome, now I'll send it to, my parents," replied Brigette. She called her dad.
    "Hi dad."
    "Hi Brigette."
"I caught you a Pokémon. I'll send it with my PC. You know how to access it, right?"
    "Brigette, you underestimate me."
Brigette sent it to her dad and said bye to her.

Brigette saw an Eevee, a Pokémon that looked like a small fox cat and bunny combined, in the grass and she ran towards it. She sent out Pancham and repeated what she did with Furfrou. Within a couple of minutes, she caught it. Meanwhile, Corey spotted a Gastly, a Pokémon that looked like a black ball with fangs and evil looking eyes, and decided that it would make a great addition to his team. After using hypnosis and peck a couple of times with Inkay, he threw a poke ball and caught it. Brigette and Corey met afterwards and decided to battle trainers and train. Brigette spotted Joey and told Corey to meet her in Lykarte city, in front of the gym when he was done. Brigette challenged Joey.
    "Go Eevee!"
    "Go Pidgey!"
Brigette had her Eevee use tackle and Pidgey did the same. They continued until Pidgey fainted and Eevee was down to 6/15 HP. Brigette then called back Eevee and sent out Pancham. Joey sent out Rattata and Brigette used arm thrust and defeated him. Corey battled a nearby trainer named lass Millie. She sent out Purrloin and He sent out Honedge. Since Purrloin only knew a normal type move and Honedge was a ghost type Corey won eventually. She then sent out a Starly, a brown and white bird with a spot on its forehead, and was defeated by Corey with the same pattern. Brigette then saw a wild Ralts, A Pokémon that looked like a small child in a white robe and green hair. She sent out her Vulpix and with a single ember got it weak enough to catch. She did and decided to train some more. Corey and Brigette saw Whismur, Machop, Ponyta, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Tailow, Budew and Blitzle while training.
They met at the gym and challenged each other. They're teams looked like this:
Corey: Inkay lv. 15 Honedge lv. 14 Tirtouga lv. 13 Gastly lv. 13
Brigette: Vulpix lv. 15 Ralts lv. 14 Eevee lv. 13 Pancham lv. 13
Corey sent out Gastly and Brigette sent out Ralts. Brigette had Ralts use confusion on Gastly and Gastly used lick leaving Ralts with 20/26 HP and Gastly with 8/27 HP. Brigette had Ralts use confusion to make Gastly faint. Corey sent out Vendetta the Honedge. Ralts used confusion and Vendetta used swords dance. Honedge was left with 23/28 HP. Ralts used Confusion Vendetta used tackle and was a critical hit. Ralts fainted. Honedge had 18/28 HP. Brigette sent out Flara the Vulpix. Flara used Ember. Honedge fainted. Corey sent out Tirtouga. Flara used Ember. Tirtouga used Rollout. Flara had 13/25 HP. Tirtouga had 25/27 HP. Flara used ember and Tirtouga used rollout. Flara fainted. Brigette sent out Eevee. Eevee used tackle and Tirtouga used rollout. Eevee had 14/21 HP. Tirtouga had 22/27 HP. This continued for 2 turns until Eevee fainted. Corey won.
"Thanks for the battle Brigette. Now our Pokémon are trained."
"No problem. Now let's heal our Pokémon," replied Brigette. "Then we'll get our first gym badge."
    TO BE CONTINUED…

I'm really enjoying this story, dude! I have a couple of nitpicks, but in general it's really entertaining. I like the dynamic between Brigette and Corey (and the bit with Brigette's dad in the latest chapter made me laugh). I also like how fast-paced it is; it's really fast, but it has a "pokemon game" feel to it, as opposed to the anime, if you know what I mean? like, this is pretty much how fast you go through the game.

increasing the game-feel is the use of game-specific battle things, like specific hp amounts, and I think in the previous chapter you mention something about the health bar's colour? neither of which you'd know if you were actually in the pokemon world. I guess I'm curious if this is on purpose? it's cool, anyway.

nitpicks: you would definitely benefit from a "beta reader", someone who looks over your chapters before you post them. there are a few typos in each chapter, which could be pretty easily gotten rid of. also your formatting is very compact, which makes it hard to read. if you include an extra blank line between paragraphs, it'll be a lot easier on the eyes.

also, I really like that at the end of each chapter you've got a little info thing about their pokemon, but you probably don't need to have it at the start as well, since the end of the previous chapter and the start of the next chapter will be the same, if you know what I mean? it's superfluous information.

anyway...keep it up! I wanna know what happens next :D

The HP is how I give you an idea of how much health it has left and that's how me and my little brother talk about pokemon health . I also have him review it (Hi oshiottiz). I'll also try to post the x and y gym leader music whenever they battle a gym leader elite four or champion. I just have it at the beggining because I type it on a word doc. and I don't want to switch back and forth from internet and word.

    Chapter 4

Corey and Brigette went into the gym. It was a pink walled gym with narrow walls and warp panels, designed so that you'd have to step on them. There was a guy in front that greeted them.
"Hi. This is a fairy type gym, if you couldn't tell from all that pink. Isabel likes pink. You step on warp panels and go to Arceus knows where. I've never stepped on them, I just inform you people. Hope you win, but she is pretty tough for a first gym leader. Good luck and take this." He gave them TM 103 iron claw (I might make up new moves and make old moves TMs) which does 60 damage and has a 20 % chance of lowering defense. 20 PP.

Corey and Brigette stepped on the first warp panel and they teleported to a pink room with a single trainer and a mural of fairy type Pokémon playing.
"Do you like the painting? I didn't paint it, Gwen of the elite four painted it. She likes ice sculptures better, but it's too cold outside so I keep the heater on."
She battled them. She had a Flabébé, an Azurill and a Klefki. The next trainer that fought them had a Swirlix and a Spritzee. The next trainer had a Marill, a Snubbull and a Floette. The next had a Cleffa and a Jigglypuff. The penultimate had an Igglybutt and a Clefairy. The last were two trainers that fought in a double battle with Wigglytuff and Clefable. Corey and Brigette reached the gym leader. She was about 29 with blonde hair and a ponytail like that of and ace trainer from B/W on the back of her head. Corey and Brigette did rock paper scissors and Brigette won making Corey go first.
"Hi. My name is Isabel. I use fairy types, oh he already explained, ha, ha, ha. Time to show you what fairies can do!"

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEkUQfB9qwM
Corey sent out Honedge lv. 17 and Isabel sent out Slurrpuff, a cupcake with arms and legs, and she had it use fairy wind. Honedge used iron claw. Slurrpuff was left with 18/38 HP. Honedge was left with 29/34 HP. Slurrpuff used fairy wind and Honedge used iron claw. Slurrpuff fainted and Isabel sent out Florges, a Pokémon that looked like a lady combined with a bush of flowers, lv. 18. Florges used Hidden power and it was a ground type move. Honedge fainted. Corey sent out Inkay lv. 18. Florges used fairy wind. Inkay used hypnosis but Florges dodged it in time. Florges used fairy wind knocking Inkay out. Corey sent out Gastly lv. 17 and used curse. Florges used fairy wind. Florges had 27/36 HP. Gastly had 11/29 HP. Gastly used lick paralyzing Florges. Florges used Draining kiss. Florges had 14/36 HP. Gastly had 7/29 HP. Gastly used lick and Florges used Draining kiss. Florges had 1/36 HP and Gastly had 4/29 HP left. Gastly used lick and Florges fainted. Isabel sent out Aromatisse, a Pokémon that had a feathery pink coat, a mask wore by doctors and a beak. Gastly used curse and fainted. Aromatisse had 33/44 HP. Corey sent out Tirtouga who used iron claw Aromatisse used fairy wind. Aromatisse had 8/44 HP left. Tirtouga had 29/35 HP. Tirtouga used aqua jet and Aromatisse fainted.
"Oh. Well, it's been a long time since I was defeated. You have skills. Take this badge and this TM. It's TM 107 draining kiss. It deals damage and regains health."
Corey took the Shimmery badge and the TM.
"Now it's time for you Brigette! See if you can beat me!"

    Chapter 4 part 2

Last time, Corey beat Isabel, the fairy type gym leader of Lykarte city. She then took up Brigette's challenge.
"Brigette, you look like a promising trainer and anyone who's trained with a trainer as strong as Corey is probably going to be a worthy opponent. Let's battle!"
Brigette sent out Eevee lv. 16 and Isabel sent out Slurrpuff. Eevee used sand attack and Slurrpuff used fairy wind. Eevee had 18/24 HP. Eevee used sand attack and Slurrpuff used fairy wind, but aimed wrong because of the sand. Eevee used tackle and Slurrpuff used fairy wind, but it missed. This went on until Slurrpuff fainted. Isabel sent out Florges and used magical leaf, knocking out Eevee because it was a critical hit. Brigette then sent out Pancham lv. 16. Florges used fairy wind knocking out Pancham. Brigette sent out Vulpix lv. 17. Vulpix used confuse ray and Florges hurt itself. Vulpix used ember and burnt Florges. Florges hurt itself and fainted because of its burn. Isabel sent out Aromatisse. Vulpix used confuse ray. Aromatisse used fairy wind. Vulpix used ember and Aromatisse used draining kiss. Aromatisse had 39/44. Vulpix used ember and Aromatisse hurt itself. Aromatisse had 21/44 HP. Vulpix used ember and Aromatisse used draining kiss. Vulpix used ember and Aromatisse hurt itself and fainted.
    "I lost again… Oh well."
After getting the badge, Brigette walked outside with Corey where Brigette got a call on her holo-caster.
    "Hi," greeted professor Cypress.
"A new trainer started her journey and she beat the gym a few hours before you did. She called me to tell she did. I forgot to mention her earlier. She choose a Torchic, I had gotten professor Birch to let her choose from the Hoenn starters. I hope you meet her! Bye."
"Let's go meet her. I'll bet she's caught some pokemon that'll help fill up our pokedexes," said Corey.
"HOLD IT!" shouted a voice from behind.
"You beat the gym, you must have good Pokémon. Those will help Team Nova. Go Vespiquen!" the stranger shouted sending out one. The stranger was a guy with short blonde hair and a team nova uniform executive uniform, which consisted of a gold shirt, pants and shoes with a small emblem on the left shoulder that had a picture of a vortex with nova spelled on it.
    "A Vespiqueen!" gasped Corey.
"What's wrong, besides the fact that we're getting mugged?" asked Brigette.
"I'm allergic to Vespiqueen stings! A single sting could kill me!" he answered back.

    Chapter 5

Last time, Brigette beat the Lykarte city gym leader, but they were attacked by a team nova executive with a Vespiqueen, but Corey is allergic to Vespiquen stings, so he was in serious danger.
"That's nice to know. Now hand over your Pokémon!" the executive ordered.
"So you didn't have anything better to do than attack a couple of kids. You must be the weakest," taunted Brigette.
"My name is Jaydan. Use it! Vespiqueen, go for the one who's allergic," ordered Jaydan.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vILg919q5sc
Vespiqueen rushed forward but Brigette sent out Vulpix and had it use confuse ray on it. Then she had Vulpix use ember. Vespiquen dodged, but ran into a tree. Vespiquen lunged towards Corey but Corey moved out of the way. Corey sent out Tirtouga.
"Quick Tirtouga use ancient power!" Corey shouted.
Tirtouga used ancient power and Vespiquen tried to move but didn't move in time. Vespiquen tried to sting Corey but Tirtouga moved in the way. Tirtouga and Vulpix used ancient power and ember knocking out Vespiquen.
    "Go Nidorino!" shouted Jaydan.
"I'm not allergic to that, so I don't have as much to worry about. That's a relief," said Corey.
"It can still poison you," answered Jaydan.
"Come back Vulpix, go Ralts!" shouted Brigette.
Brigette sent out Ralts and had I use confusion on Nidorino, who countered with double kick, knocking over Ralts. Nidorino the used poison sting to try to poison Ralts but Ralts moved out of the way in time. Ralts use confusion and Tirtouga used aqua jet. Nidorino was knocked backwards into a tree. Jaydan sent out Nidorina, but then a police officer came running.
"Go Growlithe! Use flame charge!" shouted the officer.
Nidorina avoided the attack and countered with double kick sending it flying. Tirtouga took advantage and used aqua jet knocking out Nidorina.
"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" he shouted.
"You were supposed to hand over your Pokémon!"
He then fled with the cop chasing after him.
"STOP! STOP IN THE NAME OF THE LAW!" he kept shouting.
"Let's go see if that Fiona that professor was talking about is near," said Brigette.
    "Sure," answered Corey.
They went past route 302 and reached route 303. They saw two people talking. One was a girl that was Corey and Brigette's age. She had black hair that grew slightly pas her shoulders and wore a yellow jacket and brown pants. The other had green hair styled like a Zoroark's. He had a cube on a necklace that he wore and he was holding a Zorua. They noticed Brigette and Corey.
"You must be Corey and Brigette," said the girl.
"I'm Fiona and this is N."
N's Zorua tried to go towards Brigette.
"I think Zorua likes you. Do you want to go with her Zorua?" asked N. Zorua cried out and nodded its head.
"It says that you looked like you really understood Pokémon like me. I can talk to them too Brigette," translated N. Brigette gasped.
"How did you know? Who are you?" asked Brigette clearly surprised at her secret being revealed.
"Wait, you could talk to Pokémon and I never knew?" asked Corey.

    Chapter 7

Last time, Corey discovered that Brigette was hiding a secret. She could talk to Pokémon. He just found out because a mysterious Pokémon trainer named N, who they had recently met along with a trainer named Fiona, revealed it. He could talk to Pokémon like Brigette.
"You could talk to Pokémon and I never knew?!" Corey asked.
"I didn't want anyone to find out my secret and I was afraid that you would tell everyone," Brigette responded.
"Being able to talk to Pokémon doesn't make you a freak. I know at least 2 that can, not counting you," interjected N. "Have you ever met someone named Noelle? She can talk to Pokémon. She's a great trainer, and she became the champion of a faraway region because she could bond with her Pokémon more. Anyone with that ability has great potential for a Pokémon trainer. Another trainer could talk to Pokémon. I think his n-"
N was pushed over by a Haxorus being chased by a Froslass. A girl about 20 years old with long white hair that ran over her back and curled slightly at the end was chasing it. She wore a light blue skirt and a gray jacket over a white T-shirt. The jacket had a design on the back that looked like a couple of flowers made of ice were blooming on it. Another person that looked about 68 years old chased her. He had white hair too, but it was out of age. He wore an old fashioned black jacket and had on black dress shoes and black dress pants. (These are they're actual ages).
"Froslass stop!" yelled the girl. "Stop chasing Haxorus!"
    She turned to N.
"N sorry about that but could you help me? Froslass really hates Draco's Haxorus and its taking advantage of being an Ice type."
"Sure Gwen," N responded. He said to Corey and Brigette "This is Gwen. She's the Ice type elite four. I'm gonna try to reason with Froslass and calm Haxorus down before it causes any more damage."
N ran towards Froslass and Haxorus.
"Froslass, stop angering Haxorus. What did he ever do to you? Haxorus, calm down. It's not the end of the world to have something chasing after you."
Froslass and Haxorus turned around. They began to answer, in their own languages of course.
"Haxorus acts like he's the ruler of everything. He's loud, annoying and he's way too sensitive," Froslass told N, who quickly translated.
"Froslass takes advantage of me being Dragon type and her being Ice type way too often. It's not fair," Haxorus countered as N translated.
N told Froslass and Haxorus that they had to put their differences aside and just try to get along. They wouldn't have to meet very often. Gwen and Draco thanked him and Draco left.
"I and Draco don't meet often, but we kind of have too, him being a gym leader and all. He's a gym leader of a different region, and I am too. Being a gym leader and an elite four is hard work. I need to go; I and Draco are late for a meeting, bye!" Gwen said quickly as she ran off. Froslass and Haxorus trailed after their trainers.
"I think that I'll travel with you. Take these TMs to honor our new friendships," N told them handing Tm 86 Grass Knot and TM 100 Confide.
Fiona decided to train on her own so she said bye to them too.
"If you guys knew my strategies, then I'd lose pretty quickly against you two. But before I go I'll battle you!"

    Chapter 7

Last time, Corey and Brigette were going to continue their journeys but were interrupted by a Haxorus and a Froslass fighting. Both were owned by gym leaders, one of which was also an elite four. N managed to calm them teaching Brigette that being able to talk to Pokémon didn't make her a freak, and was a really handy skill. Now, Fiona challenged Corey and Brigette to a battle.
"How about a two-on-two battle, N and me versus you two?" Fiona suggested.
"That's good. Let's battle!" replied Corey.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T04oh_hV_N4
(I'll use these as rival battle music. I'll use other remixes later on. Ignore the pictures.)
Corey sent out Inkay, Brigette sent out Vulpix, N sent out Joltik lv. 21 and Fiona sent out Combusken lv. 20. Joltik used Bug Bite on Inkay making it faint because Inkay had a 4x weakness to it. Vulpix used Ember on Joltik and Combusken used Double Kick on Vulpix. Vulpix had 19/28 HP and Joltik had 5/26 HP.
Corey sent out Tirtouga. Joltik used Electroweb on Tirtouga but Tirtouga moved out of the way in time. Vulpix used Ember on Joltik making it faint. Combusken used Double Kick on Tirtouga but Tirtouga's Sturdy kept it from fainting. Tirtouga used water gun on Combusken knocking it out.
N sent out Herdier lv. 19 and Fiona sent out Elgyem lv. 18. Tirtouga used Aqua Jet on Elgyem and Vulpix used Ember on Herdier, burning it. Herdier used Tackle on Tirtouga knocking it out. Elgyem used Psybeam on Vulpix. Vulpix and Tirtouga fainted.
Corey sent out Gastly and Brigette sent out Pancham. Gastly used lick on Elgyem paralyzing it. Gastly was paralyzed because of Elgyem's synchronize. Herdier used Bite on Gastly and Pancham used Karate Chop on Herdier. Herdier fainted.
N sent out Woobat lv. 19 and had it use confusion on Pancham and Pancham fainted. Gastly used lick on Elgyem and it was a critical hit so Elgyem fainted.
Brigette sent out Ralts and Fiona sent out Larvitar. Woobat used Confusion on Gastly and it fainted. Ralts used Confusion on Larvitar and it was a critical hit. Larvitar fainted.
Corey sent out Honedge lv. 19 and Fiona sent out Yanma lv. 18. Honedge used Shadow Sneak on Woobat and Woobat fainted. Yanma used Sonic Boom on Ralts but Ralts dodged the attack and countered with Confusion.
N sent out Kadabra lv. 19. Honedge used Shadow Sneak on Kadabra. Kadabra used Confusion on Honedge. Ralts used Confusion on Yanma. Yanma fainted. Honedge used Shadow Sneak on Kadabra and Kadabra fainted,
"You guys are really great trainers. I'll go and train some more," said Fiona.
"See Brigette? It really gives you a stronger bond being able to talk to your Pokémon," said N.
Ralts evolved into Kirlia after the battle because it had reached lv. 20.
"You trained your Kirlia well, so now it evolved," congratulated N.
Fiona left them with hurried goodbyes and ran off to train more.

    Chapter 8

Last time, Corey and Brigette battled N and Fiona. Corey and Brigette won and N decided to join them, but Fiona left to train. Now they're headed for Route 305.
Corey ran ahead when he saw something move up ahead.
"Did you see that?" he asked Brigette and N.
    "No," they answered.
He followed where he thought he saw something through a group of trees. He saw a junkyard when he ran ahead. Gwen was in it taking pictures of something on the ground.
"Gwen, what are you doing?" Brigette asked when she had caught up with Corey. N had trailed behind.
"My friend named Sienna told me that there might be new a kind of Pokémon here. She's bringing a couple of friends when she gets here," Gwen responded.
Everyone heard looked to the right as they heard a car coming towards them. Three people got out. One was 16 and had straight red hair that fell just past her shoulders. She wore a black colored jacket over an orange shirt. She wore olive colored cargo pants. Another was 19 and had silver hair and a gray jacket over a black colored shirt. He wore tan pants. His eyes were closed. The last was 18 and had bronze hair styled into a ponytail that hung below her shoulders. She had on a turquoise jacket and a purple shirt. She was wearing a green skirt. Gwen introduced them
"The first is Sienna the second is Marco and the last is Alexis. They're all elite four like me, but Alexis and Sienna are of a different region, guys this is N, Brigette and Corey."
They all greeted each other until they heard a sound like static. It came from a house a couple meters away from the junkyard. They walked towards it with N being the first in front. When he opened the door he accidentally kicked a piece of a broken radio in the middle of the room.
"It's just a radio, this is a junkyard," assured Marco.
"How did you know if you're always closing your eyes?" asked Brigette.
"You of all people should recognize the supernatural if you can talk to Pokémon. I may be blind but I can sense everything around me and piece together a picture of how everything looks. It's surprisingly accurate, down to the last detail," he explained. "Gwen told me you could talk to Pokémon like N."
They heard another noise coming from downstairs. They just discovered that there was a staircase except for Marco who had already knew. They went downstairs and saw a hallway with two doors. They separated into two teams; Team one, Gwen, Corey, N, Sienna, and Team two, Brigette, Marco, Alexis. Team A went through the first door and B through the second. Sienna did a quick security scan with a flashlight she had brought because it was dark and didn't see anything.
"All clear," sienna declared, then stepped on a rotten plank in the doorway and plunged down screaming.
    "Skills," Gwen mumbled.
    "Are you okay?" asked N.
"That's right, I just fell down two floors and I'm fine. No I'm not, I think I broke an ankle!" she exclaimed.
"It's not my fault that you did a bad security scan," N countered.
"Just shut your mouth and find me, I can't walk!" she yelled.
Team one stepped over the plank and walked towards a closet. Gwen opened the door and screamed as Zubat and Golbat flew out, knocking her over and flying up the stairs. They saw a passage inside of the stairs. They went down the flight of stairs.
Meanwhile Team two opened the door and turned on the flashlight, but it was out of batteries.
"Marco, give us a description of the room," ordered Brigette.
"DUCK!" he yelled and everyone did.
A Shadow Ball had been fired at them by a Dusknoir that had been hiding. Marco sent out a Cofagrigus and had it counter with a Shadow Ball of its own knocking Dusknoir backwards. He repeated a couple of times then threw a Dusk Ball at it and caught it. He stepped forward the told them to go four steps to the left then sixteen steps forward but Brigette thought it was the other way around and stepped in a hole, then suffered the same thing that Sienna had. She felt around with her hands and checked her surroundings. She was trapped by what felt like bookcases that had been toppled. She was surrounded by them and called out for help but no one could hear her because she had fallen three floors, not two the way Sienna had. Marco and Alexis called below but couldn't hear an answer. They advanced to a door ahead that Marco pointed out. They opened it and went down another hallway. They heard a voice that sounded like a radio with static switching through different stations to form complete sentences say:
"Get out now before it's too late."
Outside there was a figure placing something in front of the door. It was a lady about 25 placing what looked like a gray-black sphere less than two inches in circumference. She had long black hair, a single, silver earring on her left ear shaped like a rhombus but with intricate patterns. It was sharp enough to be used as a weapon. She wore an earpiece and a team nova executive uniform.
"Is it time to set the bombs off yet Lila?" someone asked her from her earpiece.
"Not yet but almost," she responded planting another.

    Chapter 8b

Last time, Corey n and Brigette explored an abandoned house by a scrapyard with four elite four, some from a different region. They were looking to find a new Pokémon that they had heard lived in there. Alexis and Marco had heard a voice that they assumed was the Pokémon. Outside a member of Team Nova had been planting bombs to destroy the house for reasons yet to be known.
"Shush Marco, there's someone, or something in this room," Alexis whispered to Marco.
"I am not afraid of you but you should be afraid of what's happening outside," the voice warned.
It stepped forward revealing itself. It was five foot seven and it looked like a blimp with arms made of paper and a single eye. It was made of junkyard scraps. It talked like it was changing radio stations to form complete sentences.
"Oh my Arceus, we found it," gasped Alexis.
"Wait," said Marco "How did Gwen know about it?"
"We'll just have to ask her about it," replied Marco.
"Call me 455; it's what the scientists called me. I am man-made like Mewtwo and Genesect," said the voice. "Now follow me to your friends, they are in imminent danger."
They followed 455 to a ladder. They climbed it excepted for 455, who floated instead. N, Gwen and Corey were walking over to a hallway when they saw Marco and Alexis.
"Is that the Pokémon?" asked Corey.
"Yes, call me 455," said 455 as Alexis and Marco quickly explained. "You are in danger of falling, this floor is unstable and you will fall. There is also someone outside with explosives, bent on destroying the documents inside. She is one of the scientists that created me."
Everyone stood with their mouths gaping.
"How did you know?" asked N.
"I have the ability to see into the future, but only a couple of hours at a time, there are documents about your family N," replied 455.
"Oh my Arceus," gasped N. "Where are they?"
"Two floors down, but there is someone very powerful and evil who wants to look through them before they are destroyed."
"I will never again be as surprised," declared Gwen.
455 led them down a staircase to a dark room. It wasn't very tall but it was huge in area. It contained dozens and dozens of metal cabinets that touched the ceiling. They saw someone standing in the middle. He was 52. He wore a golden tuxedo and matching pants. He had blonde hair and golden eyes. The tuxedo had the Team Nova symbol on it. He had tied up Sienna, who had fallen earlier. She had duct tape over her mouth. The man was looking through some files. He looked towards their direction and sent out a Roserade, a Pokémon that had hair made of white rose petals and looked like it was going to a masquerade. It had bouquets in each hand.
"Roserade, why don't you take care of these intruders," he ordered. "Use Poison Powder."
Roserade ran towards them and shot poisonous powder at them through its bouquets.
They quickly jumped out of the way but Marco went through a hole in the floor, accidentally taking Alexis along with him. They landed on Brigette, who fell earlier.
"We'll get you guys later," called down Corey, but he was pushed swiftly in the hole by Roserade.
Gwen sent out Glaceon and ordered it to use Aurora Pulse, an ice type move that does 100 damage has 100% accuracy, has 15 PP and a 10% chance of freezing the opponent.
It knocked back Roserade, freezing it. Glaceon finished it off with Ice Beam.
"Well, Kyle, who would've thought that our own champion would be reduced to being the leader of a criminal organization," yelled Gwen angrily. "I guess that fooling the Elite Four rather than helping them protect the region really rewarded you."
"Well, you had help from Sam," snapped back Kyle.
Gwen snatched her phone from her pocket and called every other member of the Varahno Elite Four.
Just then four people came in, hanging on to three Jumpluff, a round, blue Pokémon with cotton for hands and cotton on its head and busting a hole in the roof. One person was 30 with a black hat that had a veil flowing from the rim. She had on a green gown that flowed from underneath an elegant sleeveless cream colored shirt with silver trimming like the dress. She had brown hair that was kept shoulder length. The other was 22 with a blue shirt and a white denim jacket. He had black shorts and black hair to match. The third was Alma, Corey's sister and the fourth was Sam.
    "Where's Corey?" asked Alma.
"Down here!" yelled Corey from the hole.
Alma floated down on her Jumpluff to the hole.
"Jonah! Help me get these people out of the hole! Esmé, Sam! Defeat Kyle!" Alma ordered.
Sam sent out Arcanine and Esmé sent out Tangrowth. Arcanine was a cross between a tiger and a dog and Tangrowth looked like a blue mass of tangles with arms. Its face was hidden but the eyes were visible. Sam had Arcanine use Flamethrower on Kyle and Esmé had Tangrowth use Thunderbolt. That forced him to send out Milotic to defend himself. Milotic was a serpent-like Pokémon with pink fins that represented hair on the sides of its head. Kyle then sent out Volcarona, a moth Pokémon that had red wings and white fur, and returned Milotic and flew out of the hole in the roof.
    "Oh the irony," said Sam.
Esmé revealed a camera that she had been holding.
"Now we have the proof to fire him, but how what would we do without a champion?" asked Esmé.
"We'll just have to wait and see," declared Alma. "Corey, Brigette, N, I want you three to be the be-" Alma was interrupted by a loud BOOM.
They ran outside to find Lila fleeing with a detonator in her hand. The house behind them collapsed.
"What about 455? We forgot about it," said N sadly. "The documents are lost too."
    "What?" Alma asked.
    "Never mind," said N.
I guess I'll never find out about my family. Ghetsis was a foster father, not a real one.

    Chapter 9

Last time Corey and company visited an abandoned house full of valuable documents. Lila of Team Nova demolished the house with the help of explosives. Now Kyle the champion is fired and Sam is about to battle the elite four to become the champion.
Corey, Brigette and N said goodbye to the people they had seen in the house. Alma gave them a parting gift, TM 10 Hidden Power.
"Let's go to the next city, I see the gate right over there," said Brigette.
"That's Flurarux town, it has the next gym leader," declared N.
They went past the gate but then Brigette wanted to train Zorua.
"I'll be back, meet me at the gym," she called to them as she left.
When she came back she had trained Zorua to level 20. She encountered lots of Audino, Fletchinder and Staravia. Then everybody went inside of the gym. The gym was a literal gym. They had to get through an obstacle course. The guy at the entrance greeted them.

Okay, hold on for a second. This is way too many updates way too quickly. Heck, one chapter a day is too quick for me, let alone four. I think you should do one update a day at the very most. Besides, chapter 10 is looking a bit slim there. I feel like chapters 9 and 10 could be combined into one chapter very easily and it would solve the length problem that I have right now.

I'm not saying this to be mean, but it's really for your own good. If you update once every couple of days, people will be a lot more inclined to read it as they feel like they aren't behind. If you update four chapters in one day, all of a sudden people are far behind and people don't want to go through all that effort to to catch up.

Okay but I just had a lot of spare time on my hands. You're also gonna meet a new character that'll be important. This is her battle music, it'll make you feel happy and that's a promise.

    Chapter 10

Last time Brigette, N and Corey battled and defeated Bruce, the second leader. They got TM 47 and the Kicking Badge. Now they're headed for Sharanish city, home to the third gym leader.
Corey, Brigette and N were headed to the next city when someone walking nearby dropped a trainer card. Brigette picked it up and returned it to her. She was 18 and had long black hair pulled back into a ponytail. She had on an orange shirt and gray cargo pants.
"Thanks for returning it. My name's Rebecca, what's yours?" she asked.
"My name's Brigette and these are my friends, Corey and N," he answered as they greeted from both sides.
"Well, in honor of our new friendship, let's battle!" She looked at Brigette's team and said "I'll get a different team from my PC in Sharanish city. My regular team is way too strong. I'm a champion in a different region and I only have time for one battle," she announced.
    "Great," Brigette responded.
They ran to Sharanish city and then they went back to Route 305. They got into position and started the battle.

"Whoa! Where did that sudden burst of speed come from?" asked Rebecca.
    "I don't know," Brigette replied.
"Eevee has a special bond with Brigette and it faced an opponent that it most likely wouldn't be able to defeat so it got inspired to fight on even harder," explained N.
They continued the battle but it was one sided with Eevee's continuous onslaught of attacks.
"Wow, you beat me!" gasped Rebecca.
Then Eevee glowed with a huge flash of light and evolved into Espeon, a cat looking Pokémon that had big ears and a long tail.
    "Congratulations Brigette," congratulated N.
    "Thanks," she replied.
"Well, I should get going; I hope to see you all another time. Especially you two that I didn't battle, I look forward to it," Rebecca announced. "Anyway, take this."
She handed Brigette a parting gift, a fire stone.
They all said their goodbyes and turned to where they were headed next.
