Not what we mean! We want it more then Kanto not it to be there and screw Kanto.

Who gives a flying crap about the cute little Battle Frontier? Kanto IS WHAT WE WANT. Frontier can go get bombed by a terrorist attack, Kanto is the real deal.

firstly, i laughed so hard at your post, i think i pee'd a little.

but yeah, to me, kanto's more important than the battle fronteir
i found it too hard on platinum aha
kinda put me off
i'll still give it a good try though

Precisely. You're entitled to your opinion, but I'd way more want Kanto than the Frontier... I'm not saying screw the Frontier either, I'm saying Kanto is my first desire then Frontier after. Both. I would think most people would want Kanto as their FIRST choice, then Frontier 2nd. W/e

True and if so then what can we do.

Personally, Battle Frontiers suck. SUCK. I find them very pointless..

But Kanto is definitely what should be included...

We'll just have to wait and see i guess

I don't hate the Frontier, I'm pissed that people are saying they want the Frontier over Kanto. :( :( :( :( :(

If I had to choose between the two, I'd take Kanto over Frontier any day. I'm getting this game especially for Kanto's features. I like GSC's Kanto better than RBY's Kanto. (Prob b/c Gold was my first game and Red was my second.) Kanto things I liked better: Gary/Blue the Gym leader instead of Giovanni, Misty has better hair in this game/ and a boyfriend, Red (I say Ash) is in a cave-I can battle him, I like Blaine's new gym, Magnet Train dilemma/actually riding it, great Kanto gym battle music. All the GSC Kanto Music is different than the Johto music. I don't mind them adding a frontier, as long as they don't replace my beloved Kanto. :pink_love:

I thought this next issue was the one for August? What is this about July?
If we get a Battle Frontier, I will be a happy girl. ♥ Without one, there wouldn't be much to do after one has completed Kanto. :/ And many people are bound to rush through it.

But more importantly, I want to see what role the supporting character will play. Will they be another lifeless drone that poops out key items and then disappears or will they actually be interesting?

Yes the August issue comes out in July. It happens a lot in journalism.

I'm placing my bet on lifeless drone.

Anyways, I'm hoping that HGSS will have both Kanto and a Battle Frontier. That way we once everyone finishes the main story the frontier can act a great postgame content.

Just becuase it wont mention Kanto doesnt mean it wont be mentioned at a later time. That is a big revealation if you think about. August and September will bring te best news.

Nintendo probably wants to leave Kanto as a surprise for now. It's basically confirmed, anyway, since Route 22 is on the Johto map, as well as the magnet train going through the mountains between the two regions.

I'm fine with the idea of another Frontier.

Isn't it possible that they want Kanto to be a surprise for the younger ones who have never played the originals? It was a surprise to me when I first played Gold. (I thought my brother was lying when he said I can go to Kanto after the Elite Four, because after the credits, my character ended up back in his room. Then I checked my party and noticed my Pokemon's levels were still high. I wasn't sure whether or not my defeating Lance counted. I thought it was a glitch or something. I thought I had to do a new game. Then, I went downstairs in the game and went outside and found out that I CAN go to Kanto. I went there and thought it was really cool. (I didn't play any game before Gold so I didn't know how it was originally like.) I believe Kanto will be in this game, but they're waiting until it's closer to the release date. I think it's because they want to make sure that Kanto is completed and the glitches are corrected before selling it. I really don't know. I just really think it wouldn't be a remake without Kanto. It's half the storyline.

They might be purposefully holding it back as a surprise. I'm hoping it's because of last minute changes and stuff as well, since it wouldn't remind me of the originals.

I love how people are still debating over whether kanto will be in or not.

That's like trying to debate whether Mario will be in the next Mario game.

Could it be possible that the Battle Frontier might be in Kanto itself? I don't think the ideas is that far fetched. It could possibly be spread out in various cities throughout the region. That would be something interesting to see.
