    time is passed!!! Pokémon X & Y has ALREADY been released!!! this 'check out countdown to X and Y' NEEDS to be removed from the notices on EVERY page on this forums! because now it is pointless!!
     
    They'll take it down soon. It's not the end of the world, I promise. Everyone's probably too busy dealing with the traffic that XY brought in (or just playing it on their own). Click the big red x in the box and it'll go away.

    As inane as his multitude of repeated exclamation marks is, I actually agree with justinrpg on this one. It'd be odd for guests to see the banner days after the game has already been released.
     
    Oh the same lines, the pre order links need to be taken out of x/y's description, and 5th gen needs to be moved into pokemon general gaming in accordance with both forums SOP.

    I agree with the former, but not the latter. Not going through that mess again, lol. Gen V is still current. Not everyone has XY, or even a 3DS to play XY right now. Gen V trading and trade shops are still popular as well. It's not time to retire Gen V into GPGD just yet. I really don't want a mega forum. Let's not even have this conversation again. Not right now. The forum arrangements are fine as they are currently.
     
    Realistically though, 5th has to be moved into PGG in order to be in agreement with the forums statement of purpose.

    That statement? Most-up-to-date. And it's name too - Current Generation... Which is 6th, not 5th. And PGG's? Past generation. Which, with 6th gen's release, 5th gen has now become.
