Craziest True Thing You've Ever Heard

    Mine would have to be that my friends mom got run over by Ricky Martin. He told me, and I asked his mom if it was really true. She said it was, and when I went over to his house, she showed my friends and I some kind of legal document proving her right.

    Anyone else have anything strange yet true?

    EDIT: Oh yeah, and I know a monk who used to be in a heavy metal band.

    Easy.

    The average human swallows at least one spider in their sleep in their lifetime.

    Somewhat crazy. But more disgusting, I suppose.

    Someone said a raccoon bit off a man's penis. I shut up.
    I read a book telling me where babies came from when I was 7. I was speechless.

    Lol. But seriously. Probably that my Grandfather was going to die, or that my Uncle & Auntie broke up half a year ago and nobody told me :/
     
    I guess it was that I had a twin who died before HE was born. I would have had a male twin ;;

    i heard of that too althogh my sister said they goo up your nose *_*or in ya mouth!! althogh...again its a theory her freind told her she saw it happen to her lil bro!
     
    The craziest thing I've ever heard, eh? This may require some thinking....

    It was probably this list of weird laws that I read in Civics Class. The two that come to mind are there:

    1) That at one point, in Seattle, Washington, USA, it was illegal to have a concealed weapon of over six feet in length.

    2) That there was a prison in Ireland that was being torn down while the inmates were still inside. XDD

    Oh, and speaking of prisons...I'll add the story of the guy in Germany who mailed himself out of jail. lol
     
    Probably the craziest true thing I ever heard was that my grandpa once knew a woman named Ophelia Rass.

    Say it fast... now see why it's a horrible name?

    I've also heard you are never more than 3 feet away from a spider. Arachnophobics are either lyars or are gonna go paranoid after reading this.

    Um, that's not true. Sharks die, not all fish.

    Also the spider swallowing one is a myth, and even if it were true, think of the average human. People in Africa probably swallow a spider every night, and none of us do. That's average for you.

    About the "swimming in the nude" one, did you know that when your parents were kids, everyone showered together at schools?

    The words orange and purple have no rhyme.

    One of the crazy laws I heard is that it's illegal to sing off key in North Carolina. Boy, have I broken that law...
