Funny you should start this thread, only the other night I was sitting doodling away and I came up with a few Pokémon out of nothing. They're un-named and still need work but i'll upload the sketches of them and people can pass judgement on what I have so far.

    Name: As yet un-named.
Type: Primarily Poison. Possibility of it being dual-Grass.
    Evolutions: 2. Both un-named currently.
Moves it learns: I suck at movesets. But judging by how it looks it'll learn things like Poison Powder, Stun Spore, some draining moves. Later evolutions would be able to learn more physical attacks as they have limbs.
Brief Pokédex entry: Haven't even thought of one LOL. I'll edit this later when I think one up.
Brief description of appearance: Small mushroom-like Pokémon with small, poisonous baubles on the mushroom head. It has short, stubby legs and its upper face is completely hidden. Its' evolved form has a larger, saggy mushroom head and its face is completely hidden. It has 2 holes in the toadstool from which it looks out of. This evolved form has longer legs and now has feet. The final evolved form has a cup-shaped fungus growing around its head. The lower portion of its head is hidden (Unless you're looking down into the centre of the fungus). It has a long, slender body and also features arms and claws which it can use to attack the enemy.

Pikchurs: (These will most likely not be the final product. I'm still not 100% happy with the evolved forms)
    Basic Pokémon
    Create your own pokemon
    Create your own pokemon
    Create your own pokemon

    1st evolved form:
    Create your own pokemon
    Create your own pokemon
    Create your own pokemon

    Final evolved form:
    Create your own pokemon
    Create your own pokemon

As you can see, I haven't even thought of colours yet lol. The basic idea for the set was mushroom -> toadstool -> fungus. Any feedback/suggestions muchly appreciated :D

I've already created a bunch of Pokémon that I've got in my homemade Ruby hack. Here's some of them:

    Aquignus
    View attachment 45504
    Type: Water
    - Eel
    - Evolves into Quignish at level 22

This Pokémon has incredibly hot skin, that allows it to boil the water, in which it swims, without getting hurt at all.

    Quignish
    View attachment 45505
    Type: Water/Fire
    - Steam Whale

Despite resembling a swimming Pokémon, Quignish can live perfectly on land as well as in water. If trying to escape from an enemy, it will release a huge cloud of steam from within its mouth.

    Mimp
    View attachment 45506
    Type: Normal
    - Chimp Mouse
    - Baby
    - Evolves into Chimple via happiness.

A Mimp will hardly ever be seen without its mother. This Pokémon is not very suited for fighting.

    Chimple
    View attachment 45507
    Type: Normal/Fighting
    - Chimpanzee

The male Chimple will always be seen duelling with other males, whereas the female Chimple will most likely be with other females, watching, or guarding a nest. When guarding their nest, female Chimple can be extremely hostile.

    Conluth
    View attachment 45511
    Type: ???
    - Cone

This Pokémon is the product of a somewhat successful science experiment. Scientists tried to create an unknown elemental type, and ended up creating Conluth.

Wow... most of the posts in this thread are absolutely ridiculous. And not in the good "ha, that's pretty funny" way. I mean it in the "y'all are absolutely pathetic" sense.

Godmoded legendaries and uninspired evolutions are NOT the way to go. Try being original and putting a little more effort into your "creations".

    Here's mine

    Create your own pokemon

    Name: Shinai (Shin + eye)

    Type: Fighting/Steel

    Size: 4'0"

    Weight: 140lbs

Ability: Parry- has a 6.25% chance to negate an opponent's physical attack.

Signature Attack: Kendo Break- Steel, Base 75 dmg, 100% accuracy, 20% chance to lower opponent's defense one stage. Farfetch'd and Marowak can also learn this move.

Other moves: Leer, Meditate, Quick Attack, Slash, Fury Attack, Double Team, Detect, Fake Out, Swagger, Brick Break, Faint Attack, Close Combat.

Pokedex Entry: Shinai are extremely competetive, and form large colonies so that they always have access to a sparring partner. They are not particularly aggressive, but are often found scuffling with other wild Pokemon. If a Shinai loses its wooden sword, it will improvise with nearby objects, such as pipes or signposts.

Came up with this years ago as a Kid.
Thought it'd be a pretty awesome Idea.

I'll probably show off my "Codename: Oracle" Starters at another date. Until then, behold, a dragon based on SHAPES.

    ---

    Name -- Pythago
    The Masked Dragon Pokemon
    Type: Dragon
Ability: Scholar - Moves with confusion as a chanced secondary effect never inflict confusion. However, in the event that a moves main purpose is to CAUSE confusion, not only will the move succeed, Pythago's attack and Special attack will be halved.
Description: Picture a small dragon, about the size of a chicken. Small, feathered wings folded behind its back, and a small tail. No visible independednt arms. the feature standing out on this Pokemon is its head, shaped very much like an angular triangle at a frontal glance. The stand-out coloration of it only helps the illusion of a mask.
Evolutions: Evolves into The Fierce Dragon Pokemon; Pentrego
Notable attacks: Endure, Psych Up, Calm Mind, Wing Attack
    Description:
It is quite shy, and wishes to avoid fighting. They are often depicted in stories as the symbol of a scholar.
Name Influence: Based on the Pythagorean theorem; a mathematical equation for Triangles.

    Name: Pentrego
    The Fierce Dragon Pokemon
    Type: Dragon/Electric
Ability: Wise Fury - Pentrego cannot become confused. Any attack that tries to inflict confusion on Pentrego will instead boost its attack and special attack by one stage. This includes attacks used by Pentrego itself, like thrash.
Description: A dragon much larger than Pythago, with large, outspread, feathered wings, and a more menacing face. The triangle "mask" it once had is changed to the five-sided Pentagon figure, with two large horns jutting out of it. Still no arms, though.
Evolutions: Evolves to the Star Dragon Pokemon; Quetzosmo
Notable moves: Thrash, Dragon Pulse, Steel Wing, Mean Look
    Description:
Though it appears intimidating, it is one of the smartest Dragon-types in the wild. They often live in abandoned libraries, reading human language and guarding the sacred knowledge.
Name Influence: Pentrego comes from both Pentagon and the "Penndragon," a kind of dragon I never researched. I like the name though...

    Name: Quetzosmo
    The Star Dragon Pokemon
    Type: Dragon/Electric
Ability: Levitate (you know what this does) /Starbolt - When fighting an opponent with a type advantage over Quetzosmo, this pokemon always attacks first.
Description: The Raptor-like body structure of Pentrego is replaced with a more snakelike body, and the legs seem to behave and look more like hands at this point. A notable change is that the face of Quetzosmo is exposed, looking like an ordinary dragon-head shape. The "mask" now rests above the Pokemon's eyes, now a star-shape and with markings for the "eyes" and "nostrils." The star point rests between the eyes, making the hind poins jut out backwards. Also, the wings. Still feathered. Just wanted to make sure you remember that.
Signature Move: Earth Razer - [Electric] - [Power: 100] - [Acc: 75] - [PP: 10] - A powerful lightning storm that gashes the sky AND earth. has a 30% chance of paralysis. It also clears any weather conditions, feild hazards, and breaks through a Ground-type immunity.
Notable Moves: Meteor Mash, Thunder, Draco Meteor, Cosmic Power
    Description:
A legendary dragon said to have descended from the sky and granted man the power to communicate with one another. Its Electric attacks are so powerful, even GROUND-types fear its might.
Name Influence: Quetzlcoatl, the American dragon from native myths. Not that crappy Disney show. Also, the word "cosmos."
