  • Items needed:
    MS Paint
    Colour pack/World map tiles
PTC or other Tile map creator
    And already read this Tutorial
    Index
    1. The Planning
    2. Action
    3.Creating a map to use
    Step 1. Planning
To start off you need to know
    (a)How many cities you'll have
    (b)How many Routes you'll have
For my example ill go with 14 cities and ill put in mostly water routes
Ill need to open up MS Paint and start with my colour pack.(needed for later)

    Step 2. Creating a map
Start out with your basic green(Darkest)
Make it some thing like this
    picture.php

As you can see i have a new format to work on

    Now the light green
    picture.php

    Lighter
    picture.php

    Lightest

    picture.php

I like the tutorial Skello! It works great and I made a pretty good map using this tutorial! Thanks :)

(Kaka, you obviously haven't clicked the link in Part 1 which it assumes you have read, which explains how to insert a world map.)

How exactly do I get the routes to go transparent? And I'm not sure what you mean by 'rubber' tool...

You obviously haven't seen the two attached files, downloadable, and ready to view in NotePad, Or Word, or anything else capable of viewing that.

Would this work on Ruby? Because it looks like your editing FireRed, or LeafGreen (But who hacks that?)
